  3. Talkin' Smash Table Tennis Podcast

In Episode 7 of the Talkin' Smash Podcast I spoke with one of Germany's top female players, Sophia Klee. After a promising start in the sport, as the 2017 European Top 10 Cadet Girls Champion, and European Cadet Girls Doubles Champion the same year, Klee faced a challenging situation at the...
  4. Joola Tronix ACC

Dynaryz ACC definitely has more kick in the sponge so it's faster and probably has a little more range further back from the table. I would say Tronix ACC has a higher arc with more safety window, the sponge has much larger pores and is thicker so it absorbs the ball better. Nice close table and...
  5. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

It should be a universal scale it uses the same measurement device
  6. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

Well according to what I found out Rhyzen ZGX is ‘55’. This is the issue we have with not publishing the exact information. They use a device for hardness testing I believe so it’s objective. Balance sponge is more dense with smaller pores and paired with the topsheet it feels firmer. No way...
  7. Joola VYZARYZ TRINITY

I used the Trinity for a little while with short pips on both sides haha. I also did my review of it with Rhyzer Pro 50 on both sides and it was great. I would say a combination with Dynaryz ACC on the backhand and either Dynaryz ZGX or AGR/Inferno on forehand would be pretty solid.
  8. Joola Tronix ACC

There shouldn’t be usually but I don’t know if there has been any research done on coloured rubbers specifically. I know they are reluctant to make hybrid grippier rubbers with colours aside from black and red so who knows.
  9. Joola Tronix ACC

It has a nice springy feeling, good for close and mid distance, nice control and mostly good arc on the topspin ball - it has a very safe trajectory. Weirdly enough also quite good for punching the ball haha.
  10. Talkin' Smash Table Tennis Podcast

Don't worry I have some new guests lined up, including Dan :P
  11. Talkin' Smash Table Tennis Podcast

In Episode 6 of Talkin' Smash Podcast powered by JOOLA, I sat down with my good friend Ryan Willard (again) at the JOOLA North American Team Championships on center court. I have some new guests lined up coming into next year and will take a little pause to organize and record new ones as we...
  12. A good 'can do anything' short pips for BH?

Joola Express Ultra is a good transition from smooth rubber to short pips because it's quite versatile and plays closer to inverted rubber than a lot of other short pips imo.
  13. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

Both Rhyzm-P and Rhyzer 45 Pro are discontinued. Tronix ACC is definitely the closest in my opinion, it's 47.5 but it feels softer. Personally I liked the Rhyzer Pro series, especially 50.
  14. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

This is a good question, at this stage not sure. We released a lot of new rubbers this year so we are slowing and taking a step back to think more about where we could fill demand gaps, what players like or want, and what makes sense to develop along with timelines.
  15. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

Because Tronix ZGX or AGR if they are developed will probably fall in line with the current ACC and CMD with the giga cell sponge. My speculation/prediction (and preference 🫣🤣)
  16. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

There should be a weight difference between the two also, I was told that Rhyzen ZGX should be lighter.
  17. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

Rhyzen ZGX is not identical, while the specs on the rubber and technologies are the same or very close, the materials are at a slightly lower price point and level than Tronix ZGR. There are elements of the topsheet and sponge that the rubber manufacturer does not disclose so even we don't...
  18. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

Here is a really brief outline: CMD - Command - higher control ratio softer sponge (42.5) ACC - Accuracy - spin focused, medium sponge (47.5) AGR - Aggressive - more direct power (50) ZGX - lighter hybrid rubbers (a lighter version of ZGR) 52.5-55 ZGR - Hybrid with grippy topsheet and firmer...
  19. Joola Rossi Emotion or Nittaku S-cz ?

I used the rossi emotion following on from the aruna off which was very similar in composite - between both I used 3-4 years. For me the feeling with the hinoki top layer is great, the blade overall is more of a soft carbon style, it’s like an all wood feeling with a bit more bite in it. I loved...
  20. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

I’m not really much of an expert on boosting, I tried it right in the very beginning in 2011 for a few rackets but since then I have just stuck to water glue alone.
