Agree also, Schlager has been my favourite player for a loooong time, which was why I was in dreamland when I had the chance to go to the academy as a coach during Hopes Week when this video was filmed. He is incredibly humble, he spoke to me as an equal and in a very friendly manner and it was...

In the men's semifinals Henzell ousts Xiao 4-0, despite Phillip holding an 8-1 lead in the 3rd set! Powell upsets the seedings by beating 2nd seed Robert Frank with comfort. Henzell and Powell will face off in the final, Powell in good form having returned from a season in Poland and beaten...

Chunli wins 4-1 over Melissa Tapper, Miao Miao holds off Zhenhua Dederkho to win 4-2. Miao vs. Chunli tomorrow the women's final!

Actually I lied. Lea Lai Van went through first in her group, little upset there for New Caledonia :)

Gees what a weird event lol

ha funny, I was standing next to the person who filmed this :P

My flatmate uses Tenergy80, he's had it a few months so far and it's still in good shape so I think durability is ok :)

Hehe yessss, the flaming ball :D I think those balls were all broken anyway :P and the balls are lined with eucalyptus/menthol oil which would burn a bit too :)

No major surprises in the qualification groups, the next big seeds are through to their rightful places in the main draw, joining the top 4 seeds in men's and women's who had direct entry :D

Hmm I'd love to help but i'm not hugely familiar or knowledgeable with Xiom's rubber. I've tried Omega IV Europe and that was quite firm and spinny with a lower throw angle, perhaps that would suit you ok?

Haha forever enemies. Let me assure you Timo and Adrian are not enemies :P they have a great record against each other though, very entertaining. Me and Dan like to pick sides because I always back Adi and Timo is Dan's favourite, so the Olympics was despair for Dan and a triumph for me ;)

Either that or he had no idea what else to do apart from be a clown and thought someone would make a video of it for youtube :P haha

There is still a difference between the league and the World Championships and World Cup, there are even rule differences now, in the final set of the match you play to 7 points and 2 of the team matches are best of 3 instead of best of 5. The World Championships and World Cup are the ultimate...

I've seen that serve done and sometimes I use it when I'm having fun matches :D Never in a proper match though, too risky for me :P

The Oceania Cup will stream on ITTV for the first time ever in 2013, a sure sign that the ITTF and table tennis around the world is growing in terms of event coverage and online media. The Oceania Cup is the qualifying event for the 2013 IC Cup which is the preliminary event to the World Cup...

Guess I'm watching the Oceania Cup then LOL

The game has changed since 2005 and it's a new generation of players. If he could train 100% he would have some chance maybe, but I still think the odds are stacked against him to win 2-3 matches in a row against the top 5 in the world.

I don't see superleague as being anywhere near the level of a WTTC, Zhang Jike lost his first 2 matches. On the big stage the mentality of a major world event is very different to national league, even with the quality that is in China. So personally I don't think Timo can no.

Well if they are live streaming the Oceania Cup...which they are. Then they should be doing Morrocco! So assume that they will :D

Didn't know that! I think he might have this one all wrapped up :P still got my fingers crossed for Saive though :)
