Should be reasonable, but how to discount any preconception bias?

Probably 😅....Felix and Truls were the others whom I thought as better. WCQ, FZD, Khanak, Dang are all around the same level. Tomokazu is weaker in short-short for sure. I forgot about LYJ, to be honest I would rank him a bit higher as well. Didn't count Ma Long, Xu Xin and FZD, as they are...

I agree with the first two, I just don't know the reason for it. He seems like an intelligent guy, so I thought it might be due to getting tunnel vision from the pressure. But I would trust him playing short-short against anyone in the world.

I don't know what Togami lacks that he can't perform better in the WTT. He is definitely Top10 material, but often fumbles important matches. His short game is very underrated, I would argue he is top3 in that regard, his power is just insane...mental problems?

Update after a one and a half month: V>15: back to where it was, doesn't worth the effort Fastarc G1: somehow it started to work a little bit?!? added another drop, after a few days it's much better now, but still nothing close to what it should be Hurricane 3 Neo Commercial: still tacky, but...

Preparation for the season goes well. Unfortunately my right hip is acting up a little, making hard to forehand loop properly. If I wouldn't be lazy to fully rotate my body it would put less strain on my hips, so in the last week until the start of season I will focus on FH drills all table -...

He might've had a little bit of uncertainity with his new equipment for a short while, but I think he is performing up his own standard, he is just not on an exceptional run, while others improved and in good form. I doubt that equipment plays any role right now.

András Csaba playing very well, winning the matches he should, beating Ovtcharov and almost catching Hugo as well!

Sure, but why not the LAC then? And with that we arrive to the "read the forums and try out a bunch of chinese alternatives" point.

I mean, I think he has 3 options: 1. Buy an ESN hybrid which die fast. 2. Go down the 'chinese alternatives to H3 which don't need boosting' rabbithole, try out Battle2, LAC, Rxton, Big Dipper 2, Target National, Pinyin Cuifeng etc...which is fun for sure, but it's a hassle 3. Buy the D09C...

Don't do it unboosted. Just get a D09C.

Honestly, probably I should switch to something slower as well, but I don't think it makes as big of a difference. Fastarc-G1 is always an option for a linear rubber!

The power of having the other factory within 10 minute reach.

I just want to add that the V22 is much more durable than the V15 or the V20. Can't comment on the other ones. It's an excellent rubber, but it's a fast bouncy euro style rubber, not a hybrid.

Normally it depends on the ratio of spin and speed generation response curves. A high throw rubber will generate spin easily on most contact while it's speed increase slope is flatter. You can't cheat physics, you can't generate high spin without a high arc. What we perceive as "very spinny"...

I just started to catch up with the drama and I am baffled. The moderation on the forum is pretty good, especially if you know how it goes on most forums. I think people should accept that mods have authority and have to make decisions. If you don't agree or understand, ask! In dm. A single...

Lizett Fazekas had the most unfortunate run. She lost to Siri Benjegard, but has beaten Du Hanjing....Siri has lost to DHJ and Lizett would have needed a single set to march on (either winning one against Siri or beating DHJ 4-0 instead of 4-1).

Done some summer training, but I will push myself in the next two weeks. The plan is doing 3*2.5 + 4*3 hours each week. Probably I will skip one or two sessions, knowing myself. Our new informatics system will start to count TTR, my goal for the new season is to get to 1900. I would prefer 2000...

It's pretty cheap here, around 38 usd. Same as a provincial Hurricane

My blue sponge sheet is the same. I boosted it and just gone with it. It lacks the insane spin good sheets have. Still very much a solid rubber and good even in humid conditions. I would just boost the heck out of it and play until it's time for a replacement.
