Uda Y. got Miyu N. pregnant, or so I know. Her family wasn't happy. I don't know the details and what happened after.

You sound more and more like a troll, but I will reply anyway: having the same coaches and training the amount does not equal having the conditions. Some people burn out. Some don't have the money for extra coaches. Some players don't benefit from the same training method as much. Some have...

Isn't it a taboo since the scandal? I do hope though they figured things out since.

You are asking the question like it was a universal thing. But in reality it comes down to unique situations. There are many different reasons why people stop improving, there isn't a good answer to this. We have to stop pretending everything can be answered with a general philosophical take.

Practice brings me the same joy as playing the game. The players who struggle improving are the ones who don't love the practice, they burn out. I've seen plenty talented kids who invested lots of time and money into the sport but as they get closer to the end of their youth years, they can'...

Nah, there are plenty of options. a) You are on a plateau, you have to continue training hard and wait until you start to improve again. This might take months. If it still doesn't help then... b) You take a break. A few weeks, even more depending on how burnt out you are. Then you come back...

I don't want to slow down regular table tennis, if anything I would like a little more spin personally, it's very hard to finish points against stronger players once there is a rally. I am just brainstorming if somehow we could make the sport more accessible on the low levels without creating a...

I could see the merit of creating a regulated hobbyist equipment category. There would be a speed and spin range which manufacturers should stick to, maybe a durability regulation too (I don't know how feasible that is). These would be premades with an ITTF Hobby stamp, which would play...

Oh I didn't knew that. I meant the cheaper Yinhe, Sanwei, Stuor etc. blades (V14 and such). I've tried a couple but they had absolutely zero feeling in comparision and nothing in return. Might have been just bad luck, but still. What is also overpriced are "premium" premade rackets. I always...

Interesting, I've only heard good things about the senso-carbon and original carbon series, I myself use a Donic Anders Lind, which I think was a steal, vastly better than what you can get from the chinese manufacturers and I think the other brands are more expensive. ESN hybrids I 100% agree...

Table tennis can't match padel or pickleball, it is too complicated at it's core. Hardbat, pingpong tried to return to the origins and it did not work out. Longer rallies migth not be the solution, I think it would make the sport even more boring. We already have long rallies and we can't...

More inertia is good for your swing, once the ball leaves the blade speed and spin are the only factors, because the ball's weight is fixed. It just feels heavier because players can impart better spin with a heavier racket. For defenders, more spin is beneficial, playing against fast but less...

Table change would be a financial catastrophy. Few clubs can afford cahnging the tables. Also, I think bigger tables would add an advantage to taller players and a disadvantage to older players. This reflects how meaningless some studies are. 38 mm and 40mm looks like the same yet rally legth...

I don't think we should slow down the game more. At low levels it wouldn't matter as much and on the high levels I think we are at a good place with rally length. Slowing down would force players to hit even harder and we would get more injuries. I am curious if slightly higher amount of spin...

That's an interesting idea, but the problem is that balsa and paulownia blades are extremely light but very stiff, fast and bouncy. The speed will be there but the quality of play will decrease, more hitting, less spin. It doesn't help defenders either because defenders benefit from more spin.

Multiball is key. Everyone should do it, egardless how much do they train. At least a few buckets of the basics and one or two bucket random feed. If you want to train efficiently.

Honestly, he had terribly consistency and he also lacked power today. I don't now if it has anything to do with equipment, but he surely looked at his racket after misses.

What league do you play? A boosted hurricane should be fast enough I think. Out of the blades you listed out, the T11s will be the fastest probably, but it's usually a choice of short pips players, not sure if it plays well with a hurricane. It sounds like you are a pretty new player, improve a...

I've played with G1 and V>15. Here it's very cheap, often can be found as the same price as a Hurricane3 provincial. And for that price it's very good. But it's different from the Fastarc in feeling. It's good on the BH (Victas players used it (Duda, Koki Niwa, Kenji Matsudaira, Liam Pitchford...

Looks lovely! I applaud every step towards a unified rating system, it makes conversations so much easier. And the fact that you don't need to play a sanctioned event might close the gap between "rating islands" (pools of players who only play amongst themselves). Here in europe I don't think it...
