  1. Viscaria user dilemma

If you do not want to lose out on speed but want more safety, maybe a fast inner-type blade (like DONIC Anders Lind Hexa Carbon) would be a good idea. I haven't tried this blade myself, but according to reviews, it is quite similar to Viscaria in terms of speed while being an inner-type blade.
  2. China Smash 2026, Beijing, 10/1-11

I don't know about the rest of the Iranian team, but both Noshad and Faraji have a tendency to hide their serves. Faraji is quite similar to LSD in that sense, as they both hide their hook serves.
  3. I accidentally made a Chinese rubber insanely tacky — so I started experimenting

I've been using flexible acetate sheets (I think this is the right term for it, but not fully sure) and water for a long time, and the results have always been great.
  4. I accidentally made a Chinese rubber insanely tacky — so I started experimenting

The thing is, I got similar results with my previous rubbers as well. One thing that I do every time is that I make sure there are no air bubbles between the plastic film and the rubber; I put the plastic film slowly from one side to the other, and get rid of any air bubbles along the way. I've...
  5. 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, 9/19-10/4

Unlike the semi-final, enjoyed watching LSD in the final. Well done.
  6. 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, 9/19-10/4

Either way, he is doing well. He counters everything.
  7. 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, 9/19-10/4

LSD is playing very well. He is standing noticeably closer to the table than usual and is ready for counters. Very good.
  8. I accidentally made a Chinese rubber insanely tacky — so I started experimenting

I don't know how tacky you want the rubber to be, but I've been able to continuously maintain and increase the rubber's tackiness over time by just cleaning it with water and putting plastic film on it. My current Skyline 3 TG Neo (it wasn't like this from the beginning): My previous Neo...
  9. 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, 9/19-10/4

Not a fan of Noshad's serves either.
  10. 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, 9/19-10/4

I moved the table so that he could serve legally.
  11. 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, 9/19-10/4

At this point, I just hope WCQ wins the final. I know his serves are not the cleanest either, but there are levels to dirty serves, and LSD hook serves seem to be the worst.
  12. 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, 9/19-10/4

Some LSD serves are not even in the grey area; they seem pitch black! Awful!
  13. Donic Xtreme blade - Anyone tried it yet?

DONIC has introduced a new Zhang Jike True Carbon blade with the same composition as Xtreme. There is no info on its thickness at the moment, so maybe they are a little different. Also, the handle doesn't look like a typical Soulspin handle...
  14. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

It looks like outer ALC to me. If you look at the blade's wing rather than the handle, it looks like outer ALC. I think the handle part is misleading because of the G-Fless material, which is brighter than the usual design of Timo Boll ALC, hence creating some sort of illusion that the carbon...
  15. Europe Smash 2026, Malmö, 8/8-16

Dima was just very good with his backhand flicks and super consistent and powerful in the rallies, which he is in general, but even more so today. Anyone could've lost to Dima in that form. The strange thing for me was Truls' serve/receive today; it looked off to me.
  16. DHS Skyline serie, TG2 and TG3

I've moved from Hurricane to Neo TG3 40 (on forehand). Mine is quite tacky. It seems to hold the ball forever! Just like everyone said, it is spinier and slower compared to Hurricane, but only marginally. When playing close to the table, the difference in speed is not visible that much...
  17. Cleanest serves in Table Tennis - Benedikt Duda

Chen Yi probably has THE cleanest serve at the moment. Almost completely vertical toss, and the ball is visible all the time. I can't remember even a single one serve of hers going to TTR or anything.
  18. Dignics 09C – Serious Quality Issue NOT STICKY ? Let’s Talk About It.

What's the difference between tacky and sticky?
  19. Share your Racket's Photo

First time testing Skyline TG3 Neo!
  20. Grip tape

I used Yonex grip tape for a while, and I was quite pleased with it. It was a badminton grip tape, which I cut in half and used on my blade. It was very comfortable for me, didn't change the feeling (I stretched the tape as much as I could when wrapping it around the handle), and it was super cheap.
