No the sponge lasts as well. I know a few players who have tried MX-S Infinity and they say its a great BH rubber.

If you want more then 100h out of a rubber I think Dignics 09C is the way to go or maybe Chines hybrids but I don´t have any experience with Chines hybrids at all.

ESN Hybrid has av very short life span if you ask me. One my friends have MX-S Infinity on BH now for over a month and the top sheet looks like new. He trains 10-15 hours a week. But it´s not a Hybrid. MX-P Infinity have a very strong top sheet as well.

Infinity last longer than ESN hybrids. K3 Sponge is one of the very best on the market today. But K3 Infinty don´t exist yet : )

Correct! Infinity top sheet and K3 sponge would be a winner. MX-S Infinity sponge is not very good. Top sheet is amazing.

I completely agree that K3 loses its grip and becomes almost unusable after just two weeks. In my experience, though, many other modern hybrids suffer from the same problem. I know of several ESN hybrids that lose their tackiness after only 20–30 hours of play. I think we’ll start seeing more...

I think a more linear rubber is something worth trying. MX-P is great but it is bouncy, very bouncy. Tibhar Hybrid MK is a very good option.

If you are in your 50s and don´t have the best footwork and slow arm swing don´t go for Hybrids or Chines rubbers. Try ESN rubbers 47'5 hardness insted. Nuzn 48, DNA Platinum M etc

09c last three months. K3 two weeks.

You get easy speed without proper technique, which can feel good in practice, but in the long run it harms your development since you never really learn to generate your own power.

Young intermediate player? I don’t know much about this player, but I’d say it’s a bad idea. MX-P is even worse. Tibhar Szocs Signature 1 is probably a better choice together with Hybrid MK, you’ll likely develop faster and win more matches.

Just got confirmation that Tibhar will be releasing MX-P Infinity and MX-S Infinity in May. The information I have is that both rubbers are further developments of the originals, featuring a new top sheet and a new sponge. Not just harder, but we will se soon. Very exciting!
