  2. Blade

Yinhe - T2s is a really fast carbon blade and the weight is quite low as well. Really good value for the buck.
  3. Soft Sticky?

The green/blue is the color of the rubber. The sponge has the same white/yellow color in all variants. Mercury II is really nice and much rubber for the money. It's like a slower Big Dipper with really good spin and tackiness.
  4. Soft Sticky?

Pimplepark - Epos is quite tacky and softer. Around 36-40deg. Mild catapult. 729 - Phoenix is soft, tacky and easy to play with. Giant Dragon - Storm Soft is really tacky, not that fast and really not that soft either. Yinhe - Mars III Euro is semi tacky and a soft rubber with some nice bounce...

  6. Warranty on Table Tennis Blades

Check with your seller. This doesn't look like you have been careless or done anything wrong. They probably want to know what glue have been used as well. But always seal your blades, no matter how smooth the surface is.
  7. Anyone recognise this blade?

It must be the Yinhe - PRO-01x Max.
  8. Which 7ply wood blade after Clipper?

Sanwei - V5 Pro is a really nice, fast 7-ply wooden blade with a hard layer of ash on the surface.
  9. i dont think chinese rubbers do most people any favours

It's all about what you need when playing. I need tacky rubbers with a less elastic top sheet and a harder sponge, because I often close my racket angle much and like high amount of spin and brush loops. I also have a faster carbon blade with my rubbers to give me the speed I need in combination...
  10. Sanwei Fextra 7 too soft for chinese rubber?

Yes you should look at something a bit faster I guess. Yinhe - PRO-01 is really nice and fast. I use it now with a 729 - Battle Taichi 37/40 (FH) and Battle Taichi 37/39 (BH) and it works so good :) If you're still into wood, check out Sanwei - V5 PRO. It's a really fast 7-ply blade with a hard...
  11. Small C-Pen?

I have this Haitian - AW-089 with a handle that's 21x27mm. This must be quite thin..? Most Haitian blades seem to have approx these measures in CPEN...
  12. Lighter BH rubber for CPEN setup

The Pimplepark - Epos is really soft, light weight and tacky. It's available from 1.0-1.9mm. Or like others have suggested. 729 - Focus III Snipe, 729 - Phoenix Perhaps a softer rubber like Yinhe - Mercury III Euro or Yinhe - Mars III Euro could fit you. The 729 - Aurora Max Soft is more light...
  13. Cheapest but decent first defence setup

Why not go for a Haitian - AW-089 blade. All wood in 5 ply and fairly slow. 729 - Cross General is a cheap, grippy and not too fast rubber. Perfect for control and loop. A more light weight bouncy alternative is 729 - Aurora MAX. Giant Dragon - Submarine is a really nice def rubber. Tacky with...
  14. Difficulty in rubber gluing to blade

Well. I use a quite coarse sandpaper, but very lightly. Just so you feel that you get some impact enough to make the glue stick. I use to rub it a bit diagonally over the fibres.
  15. Difficulty in rubber gluing to blade

Sure. Use a coarser sandpaper and lightly scratch up the surface a bit. This will help the glue to stick better. I do it all the time, especially after sealing blades.
  16. Are players in Europe (US as well) interested in lesser-known Chinese rubbers?

Thank you :) I'm doing my best to keep good stuff in stock...
  17. Avoid tacky rubbers because they are dust magnets?

No problem at all. Sometimes I clean the rubber between sets as well, but mostly only between games. I need super grip :D
  18. Rubber advice needed

I have some playing partners that have transferred from Mark V GPS, Stiga Genesis and Gewo Proton for example, to Big Dipper 38/39deg on FH and they have stayed with this one for 3-4 years now, and they are not boosting.
  19. Rubber advice needed

Yeah. I'm using harder, tacky rubbers for backhand now as well. It was just a test I did this spring, and it feels pretty nice :)
