@netdriver Often, constantly hitting ball long is sign of impacting the ball too early hitting too far in front... or coming out of crouch too early. Another way to say this is that the player perceives the ball to arrive at the strike zone earlier than it actually does. Another way to explain...

After reading your first sentence, my response would be something similar. If you are not making good power on FH power shots, it is a matter of not getting enough bat speed at impact or the firming at impact is poor or both. A number of things are in play, but assuming bat speed is OK, it is...

  7. Does anybody else mentally fall apart against pure pushers or weird styles?

A really old couple sometimes comes to the Slavic Church Mon PMs... and the old woman has an LP that she just sticks it out there and bumps it back... John Rambo Danill was not liking the interruption of his training when the lady jumped into the table. (which is OK, there are only 4 tables and...
  8. Does anybody else mentally fall apart against pure pushers or weird styles?

I have a local Ukrainian friend I call John Rambo Daniil... and he seems to absolutely hate playing vs LP, even if it is training. he would rather practice hard running around everywhere striking topspins vs blocks or attacks rather than remember what he put on the ball and have to deal with it.

  12. How much training and how to train to become a professional?

Tony has no idea what pros do or how to train. Haha, if you hear this, start throwing whatever available rotten food is on hand center of mass right at who said that. Tony has been around the block and sees it well.

@dingyibvs is addressing the amount of prep (vertical drop) on backswing... which will be different for the three main topspins... fast loop, medium sloop, slow, heavy loop. The fast loop, which many prefer as a response, requires a racket drop roughly the top of bat (with the tip of bat facing...

Hi @dingyibvs , IF... and I say IF you are a meter away from the table AND... I say AND and IF... a low energy ball comes to your BH zone and is at net or above... Given that situation, you can still play pretty much the same shot I do... except you use a tiny more wrist, and hit through it...

On the same thought... I have geared down to Persson Power Play OFF- wood blade and have bought DOZENS of these from TT11 in Estonia... ... and recently I slapped on the familiar Reg Aurus and Aurus Soft combo on the V2 Persson Power Play (all the PPP blades i bought before were V1 blades or...

This is a fair question and my response would be similar to Next Level. Where I may be different is that I can say that 2 of the same blades same factory made from same piece of wood same tree same section will differ and never be exact. This may be splitting hairs or magnifying the pic to show...
