  1. Felix Lebrun should play short pips on FH

You are forgetting a certain German penholder, who by the way, is doing quite well without SP on forehand as well.
  2. Paris Olympic Games 2024

Truls had 9-8 in the 2nd set. What if he could have closed it and had a 2-0 lead instead of 1 - 1. It would definately have delayed FZD going into "god mode" as he did in the last 3 sets. All in all a match worthy of a OG final. Great duels, tight sets, and even an amazing snake :).
  3. Paris Olympic Games 2024

    FZD looks very nervous ...
  4. Transition to short pimples.

Pushing with SP is not much different than with regular rubbers. You just need to adjust the angle of the bat. Just practice a bit on finding the right angle and brush the ball less.
  5. Paris Olympic Games 2024

I am sure FZD will be practicing receiving sidespin chop blocks during training sessions today. Will be interesting to see if he will have less trouble with them tomorrow than in previous encounters.
  6. Paris Olympic Games 2024

Feels very much like FZD is going to take the gold. I do not think Hugo has the game to beat FZD. When it comes to Truls, I guess on this best day when FZD has finals nerves, he could have a shot at it, but I think Truls is just too content with reaching as far as he has already, to really "zone...
  7. Paris Olympic Games 2024

Starting to feel like the "real" final was yesterday vs Harimoto
  8. If Fan Zhendong wins Olympic gold, this can be a seminal moment not just for himself or for China, but also for Wang Hao.

It would be better for the sport if we finally would have a non-chinese player winning a final though ...
  9. Paris Olympic Games 2024

Truls has been in such terrible shape lately. Amazing how he can find his A-game right at the most important tournament. Truls even hit some really good backhand shots today :). Major difference is that he didn't give WCQ too many free points from easy misses or bad serve returns.
  10. Rakza 7 vs Tenergy 05 in terms of sponge hardness

I find the rubbers quite similar. However, T05 just has a little bit extra in every department. More spin, more speed, etc. T05 is therefore a more difficult rubber to handle in the passive game of blocking and serve receive.
  11. Anyone tried the new Stiga Mantra Sound?

Good beginner-intermediate rubber. Decent speed but limited grip. Not that similar to the regular Mantra Pro's.
  12. SQST squared straight handle

Yasaka Falck Carbon is inner carbon. Yasaka ST handles are quite squarish, though more flat and rectangular than the butterfly blades you referred to,
  13. Timo Boll ALC + H3 3 neo provincial 39° Blue Sponge on FH and boosting before testing or after

It is not really a european blade since it is made in japan. Timo boll ALC is basically the same blade as Viscaria, Fan Zhendong ALC, Lin Gaoyuan ALC, etc.
  14. Timo Boll ALC + H3 3 neo provincial 39° Blue Sponge on FH and boosting before testing or after

So you are asking whether an Outer ALC blade plus H3Neo work good together? This is the main combo of most Asian Pro's so there is definitely nothing wrong with the combo. You currently play with an even faster blade and also a faster rubber with close to same sponge hardness, and since you are...
  15. World Cup 2024

Not that a huge difference compared to say the ATP tennis tour. - 4 Majors - 9 ATP 1000 - 1 ATP tour finals But I guess the tennis players have also complained over the overcrowded schedule and injury risk ...
  16. Pro talks About Why He doesnt discuss his equipment

Definitely! Especially when they lure their captives in with club discounts and events and give aways from time to time also ;)
  17. Pro talks About Why He doesnt discuss his equipment

Stiga has a showroom in Stockholm where consumers can come and try out pretty much all their blade and rubber combos. Really great way to find out what works for you without EJ'ing through the full range.
  18. Stiga Inspira Hybrid Carbon

I have heard that the blade is made in Sweden, but the carbon layer is made in Korea.
  19. Dynasty Carbon and ZJK ALC speed?

https://ttgearlab.com/2019/12/30/stiga-dynasty-carbon-lab-test/ This review cover all you are asking for. The lab measurements clearly state Butterfly outer ALC blades are faster (than Dynasty Carbon) both for shots hit with moderate force as well as for shots hit with more force,
