  1. Question about reflexes

Try to be confident with your strokes. Hesitating really lowers your speed. So, just think that you are a CNT player and do the shot. Or do not. There is no try. :D (I didn't want to suggest to loop everything without thinking, just be confident.)
  2. Article: Is Over Celebrating Points A Problem In Table Tennis?

It's nonsense. Celebrating isn't a measureable thing. And what is over celebrating? Kicking barriers yes. But choing no. When you cho directly into the opponent's face, it's impolite and offensive and should be punished. But it isn't celebrating. Choing for yourself and for the spectators is...

  4. Japan Open 2016 - Videos

Nothing happened. What did you mean by this? '.. because I salute all with skill harimoto .'
  5. Japan Open 2016 - Videos

I like when someone copy my post and use as his/her own. I think he uses ZJK ZLC and Tenergy 05 on both sides. Of course all of them special made pro versions.
  6. Lighting for Venue

Use LEDs. They can be more expensive (not necessary) but less problem with them. Be sure that the lights are warm and not quiver (or whatever, I don't no what is it in english when the light isn't 'analog' but 'digital'.)
  7. Ideas for an outdoor setup

The bounce of pure wood is pretty similar to professional tables, except the reactivity to spin. The ball will change it's direction more after bounce, but that isn't really a problem, you will learn to read the spin even better. This is just my experience on wood mini table, different woods...
  8. Olympic Legends vs Brazil Stars 2016

Yeah, when I wrote this I didn't see that match. :D HC has the skill to beat Harimoto but he don't has enough experience. Playing against a 12 years old kid psychologically very hard.
  9. Ideas for an outdoor setup

I left one for a day on direct sunlight and after that I had to use sandpaper to get some spin. :D Just playing in sunlight shouldn't be that bad, but I never risked it.
  10. Ideas for an outdoor setup

Protect the table from wind is important when you store your table folded up. Strong wind easily knock it over. Be aware of sunlight, it will decrease your rubbers lifetime, so find shadows.
  11. Olympic Legends vs Brazil Stars 2016

I would say Hugo will beat everyone, except Wang Liqin. He's still the best among them.
  12. The big struggle

Try aggressive heavy backspin pushes to his body or where you see a weak spot. Then attack his return.
  13. Tomahawk serve

A few things: - It's harder to conceal and confuse the spin: tomahawk usually fast and the placement is more important at that serve. - There is less spin: It really isn't true, you can do it very spinny. - Keeping it short and low is harder: Matter of practice. - Variation can be limited...
  14. Tomahawk serve

  15. What should i choose as a BH rubber to block and hitting??

Stiga rubbers are great for blocking. Calibra Tour rubbers are really insensitive to spin an have a very low arc. Airocs shines there too.
  16. Tomahawk serve

I use the Kenta style tomahawk, mostly with forehand, only occasionally with the backhand. I can do only top or sidespin serve with BH and it's easily attacked, so it's good only for surprise. In the past my every second or third serve was a tomahawk, but I moved to pendulum. Nowadays I use it...
  17. When start Chinese League (CTTSL)

I'm sure that matches will be on Youku in high quality (or at least higher than on youtube)
  18. How to punish long serves

Loop it. Your arm and wrist should be loose and don't use much power. Loop right after the bounce, in the ascending period. Then practice, practice, practice...there is no shortcut or a super-trick.
  19. How do you politely tell someone you don't want to play with them?

I've had the same problem in my previous club. I think after a little practice you can say 'Sorry I want to play with XY, thanks the game.' If he/she is normal, he will understand that you get bored and happy that he/she could play with a stronger player. But if he/she don't want to stop and...
  20. Xiom Omega V Pro as backhand rubber?

+1 to Rasant Grip but have thought about MX-P? I'm just asking.
