  1. How to avoid buying fake blades or rubbers online?

  2. Returning to table tennis, lots of change! Did I buy the wrong blade and rubbers?

You might like a slower rubber like Pimplepark Epos on forehand to gain more control or perhaps a Palio AK47 Yellow that isn't that grippy with more focus on control, and it's linear...
  3. Dead dignics 09c ??

I'd reglue it. See to have 2-3 layers on the sponge and 2 layers on the blade. If it's genuine it's probably a glue problem. It could appear that the rubber sticks good, but you'll notice when you remove it, that it's not that hard stuck to the blade (if it's this problem).
  4. The twin for Dignics, China born.

I have some of these. Mostly long/short pips rubbers, but some backsides as well
  5. The twin for Dignics, China born.

I have the Storm Soft and it's a nice rubber. The tackiest rubber I've used and a bit softer than the ordinary Chinese rubbers.
  6. Yinhe Mercury 2 vs Sanwei Ultra Spin T88

If it's for beginners in their first year or so you could just go for the Sanwei T88-III Training double pack. I've sold a lot of these and clubs use them for beginners, but if they have played for two-three years the Sanwei - Ultra Spin would be a really perfect rubber, like JJ Ng wrote.
  7. Rubber alternative for FH & BH, cheaper

Yep the Sanwei Ultra Spin is a really good rubber for the price and perhaps the Sanwei Taiji Plus instead of the Battle then...
  8. Rubber alternative for FH & BH, cheaper

    What hardness do you use?
  9. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

For a beginner use the Rxton 1 and an allround 5-ply blade or similar. I haven't tried the Special, but all the others might be hard to use for a beginner.
  10. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I really liked the GTX on backhand, but it's not very forgiving so you got to hit the ball right :)
  11. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Put the GTX on backhand and LAC on forehand :)
  12. I wanna play with the big boys!

Yep. That's just plain stupid :) You could just say "use Tenergy 05. It plays by itself" ;) To get better, at any age and at a lower level, you need to use rubbers that are more linear to really work with your technique and footwork. I'm not 62 yet, but closing in, but I still practice 2-3...
  13. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I sent a question about them again right now, so we'll see what the reply will be :)
  14. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Still waiting for the Hard ones. Seems like Yinhe has problems producing these still....
  15. best glue?

It's the oil in the booster that hasn't dried all up. It happens all the time when you're in a hurry :)
  16. Alternative to Stiga Clipper and Intensity

Sanwei Parla is close. Quite fast and good feeling 7ply wood
  17. Need Help Choosing a New Forehand Rubber (pls)

Yep. It's easier in a way I think. Easier for someone that comes from Euro/Jap rubbers to use than Battle 2 in my opinion. Yes the durability is nothing I can say anything about so far.
  18. Need Help Choosing a New Forehand Rubber (pls)

Yes. Unboosted I think B2 is better in the short game. I'd say that you should look at Yinhe Big Dipper 38deg, it's something softer and a bit bouncy. LOKI GTX Pro is also a rubber with a bit more elasticity that could work. And DHS Hurricane 8-80 is really quite nice. Sanwei Gear Hyper is a...
  19. Need Help Choosing a New Forehand Rubber (pls)

No I wouldn't say that Battle 2 or 3 are like a boosted H3N. They are quite similar to H3/H3N but perhaps a bit softer over all. Battle 3 is a more easy-to-play rubber and has a softer, bouncier feeling than B2. LOKI Arthur China plays like a boosted H3 40deg somewhere. Have you played a lot...
