  1. Any blades still in production similar to Xiom Hugo HAL or Butterfly Moonbeam?

sorry but this is just BS, there are so many different balls available and if you play competitive then you always need to adapt to stuff like this. same with tables and light, floor and whatsoever. professionals are used to this and if you want to suggest that hugo only won because of that then...
  2. Any blades still in production similar to Xiom Hugo HAL or Butterfly Moonbeam?

timo boll ZLF is pretty similar but with less support beyond the table and a bit different feel. hugo hal feels more complete and supports a more powerful game. zlf will sadly be discontinued too, so same same i liked the new butterfly outerforce ALC because it had similar speed but a lower...
  3. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

i really hope that it really is just an supply problem and they bring the blade back at one point. but let’s see what happens over the summer
  4. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

if he actually just played with what we know i definitely see no reason for a change. a lot of control in short game and open up and enough power beyond the table to let every professional choose him as an example for a player with the most power
  5. ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025, 4/14-20

amazing, i still can't believe it! a great day for table tennis and i am so proud for hugo <3 he definitely kept more mentaly stable compared to his games in the olympics. maybe his new coach has something to do? if yes, then a great decision for a change even though it must have been a hard...
  6. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

the only thing we know for shure is that hugo plays the HAL in a heavy weight around 92g with a picture of him in the down part of the handle instead the xiom logo. everything else is speculation and since nobody has any proof we should stay with what we know
  7. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

clearly feedback is much better with heavier models of the same blade, but the stiffnes, overall speed and kick goes up a lot and the throw will be lower too. lighter models can feel hollow sometimes but they are more 'controllable' and 'easier to play' for most players that don't train 5x per...
  8. New Xiom Blades Series: Hugo Calderano and Lee Seungsoo (TMX / ALX)

thank you for the pictures! finally we can see the real handle shape. i was so confused when i saw the really bad 3D image and how the handle looked like. but they stayed with their nature of having a butterfly 'clone' handle with wide for outer and thin for inner. i personally like the idea of...
  9. My 15 month EJ journey in table tennis (Xiom offensive S+ Xiom 36.5 ALXi + TMXi + Viscaria)

please don't... you are a beginner and since you changed so much in this early times it is quite easy to imagine that you still not developed any feeling or idea of the game. instead of training hard with one equipment and creating a game plan you just chasing the honeymoon phase. i told you in...
  10. Best glue to assemble rubbers?

yes you need one, it is still a contact glue
  11. Best glue to assemble rubbers?

sueke is thicker then revolution but takes a bit more time to dry. but doesn’t matter if you use a hairdryer anyway. it is the easiest one to remove by a mile from any glue i had in the years like nittaku, andro, revolution, xiom and donic. the only difference to other glues is that it will...
  12. Xiom Omega 8?

anybody any updates on durability of the new omega 8 series yet? especially omega 8 china. i want to switch my bluestar a1 and looking for something around the same hardness. the best rubber for me was hybrid k3 but the durability was horrible. bluestar was okay, same as any other modern...
  13. Donic Bluestar vs. Bluegrip?

i tried all three versions and played with a1 for one season but will actually switch again. as @Scarfed Garchomp wrote they differ very much. the topsheet of A series is softer and the sponge is more porous and softer overall. it feels like an easier to play and more durable version of rasanter...
  14. Looking for a BH rubber that has higher throw then Rakza 7, suggestions?

more catapult that starts earlier (still a lot less compared to modern rubbers) easier to generate spin but not that high peak like g-1 a bit lower throw that makes backhand techniques easier backhand stroke is more compact, the timing is harder and therefore it less likely to generate the same...
  15. Best glue to assemble rubbers?

oh really? luckily my batch didn't smell at all! but my old glue revolution no3 smelled so much that people entering my room after glueing rubbers asked me if i had a cat toilet in my room :D what you all like better about dhs 15 compared to sueke?
  16. Best glue to assemble rubbers?

sueke no.2 amazing glue, sticks well, easy to remove, leaves no residue on blade and best thing is it's sooo darn cheap!
  17. Looking for a BH rubber that has higher throw then Rakza 7, suggestions?

+1 too on fastarc C-1. it basically what you described and a perfect backhand rubber. but if you really want to go for high throw and catapult then try omega v tour or tenergy 05. most modern rubbers besides hybrids have mostly lower throw. and with hybrids you have not the catapult you wanted
  18. Xiom Vega Hybrid Rubbers

i didn't try but can imagine that it will work good with one layer. only problem is that it is already pretty heavy rubber, mine was 53g on my hugo hal
  19. Xiom Vega Hybrid Rubbers

vega pro H was a really nice rubber with a lot more spin then any rubber in the vega series, but yes it was rather unresponsive. if you have a fast blade then it could fit
  20. Blade with cracking feeling

not only speed, the whole style this blade behaves is different and you would need to change your whole technique and that would make no sense if you didn't want to have this change or a coach told you that. so better stay with the blade and feeling you are used to and just change to lighter...
