  1. Harimoto Innerforce ALC vs Dimitrij Ovtcharov ALC for my new set up?

Both are good blades. Ovtcharov is stiffer and more aggressive (bigger upgrade from Korbel), Harimoto is just like Korbel with ALC in it.
  2. 3 New Andro Rubbers

To me N48 was not just a softer N50 like R45 is a softer R48, the topsheet is different between N48 and N50 & N55. I feel N50 topsheet is softer and grippier than on N48, to me N48 moreso resembled a modernized Fastarc G1, whereas N50 was more reminiscent of a newage hybrid such as Bluegrip J3...
  3. Backhand Rubber recommendation ?

It's a bit like T19, grippy, elastic feeling. But it's not as bouncy as Tenergy imo, and the topsheet feels like it grabs the ball in a safer way. With Tenergy I always felt after the first month when the topsheet wears down, the balance between tension in the rubber and easy grab from the...
  4. Backhand Rubber recommendation ?

I'll throw Helix M into the mix, but at least in my region it's more expensive than Tenergy. However so far my sheet of M has held up much better than any sheet of Tenergy I have used
  5. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

I just figured there'd be a little more buzz on TTD about the ARYC, but seems like everyones eager to stack ARYX up to the HAL
  6. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

My ARYX is also on the way. Seems no one around here is springing for the ARYC yet even though its the model that Hugo has been shown to use
  7. Need Advice On Hinoki Blade (J-pen)

V11E is a good rubber, but softer and milder than G1. Still no slouch though. Swat Spin is especially lightweight but its also fairly soft. I really like Mantra Pro M, Glayzer and Rozena although they all provide different flavors of rubber. I'm also testing the new Blastac but its a fairly...
  8. SP Carbon (Seth Pech Carbon)

Well yeah lol, I'm sure if anyone has got deep enough pockets they could get anything made commissioned through an OEM
  9. What happened to Joola Tronix rubbers?

Hope I can continue getting Tronix ACC in the US. One of the only German rubbers I find myself coming back to. Have not tried Dynaryz ACC (on the list) but I don't really need a rubber more aggressive than the Tronix
  10. Stiga Helix Platinum ( Any review )

I have a sheet of M, H and XH. Used M the most, H and XH I've been swapping around, I think I have put at least 40 hours on my M and it has yet to develop much of a wear spot (as opposed to a lot of newer Euro hybrids that start showing wear in the sweetspot in like 10-20 hours) I can't really...
  11. Blades you wish were available in other color combinations

The fiber does look different and the wood is likely different but from what I've heard from folks who've tried both, they play very similarly
  12. Blades you wish were available in other color combinations

True Carbon Inner looks to be exactly the same blade but with a more standard handle
  13. Xiom Vega China VM Review

I think Hybrid K2 is also available but not everywhere. And while they are hybrids on technicality, rubbers like TDE and Hurricane Turbo essentially just act like straight up Chinese style rubbers
  14. Stiga Helix Platinum ( Any review )

I am testing Helix Hybrid XH right now (I have Helix Platinum XH on another blade) and I don't think it is too redundant to Platinum. On Hybrid the pimples are slightly shorter and the topsheet is mildly sticky, thicker/softer than on Platinum. Hybrid acts how it is named. It acts a bit deader...
  15. Best F/H short pimple rubber

Victas VO>102, bouncy with a lot of spin for sp. In 1.8 is plenty fast
  16. DHS 08X review

Limba surface, inner carbon? Myth Carbon (Ma Lin Carbon), Waldner Senso Carbon
  17. Suggestions on rubbers for a man leaving h3 neo

By going hybrid you have to accept the tradeoffs. Hybrids cannot fully replicate the spin quality and grip behavior of boosted H3, they yield spin and grip/arc safety through investment of effort for ease of accessing speed. In terms of proximity to boosted H3, D09C and J1 come closer, N55 is a...
  18. Suggestions on rubbers for a man leaving h3 neo

OP is asking for rubbers that are easier to use than a boosted Hurricane. Turbo Hurricanes are very hard and very heavy, I can't say I found them easier to use than boosted H3
  19. New Genextion V2C (Hybrid) from Nittaku

I'd say they are pretty different, Nuzn48 is basically a modern adjustment of Fastarc G1, V2C is a pretty modern 52.5 hybrid that has some stickiness. I really like V2C but IMO definitely quite a big step away from N48
  20. Best blade for Helix Platinum?

Korbel is not a slow blade per se, but it is softer and more flexible than most popular 7 ply wood blades and fiber blades. Maybe it would do you well to test some popular fiber blades to see if they suit you
