  1. Difference in Loki Pro Rubbers

thanks a lot! then i will try it with a thin layer. the sponge already feels really soft an nothing like the rxton pink that i bought for a friend even though they have the same hardness on the sheet
  2. Difference in Loki Pro Rubbers

so i received the sheet of rxton 9 pro 39° and a sheet of bluegrip c2. i think i will decide between the two what i keep on playing on my forehand. the Rxton 9 i got for 20€ and Bluegrip is 40€. i am still playing with rxton 3 pro and it is nice and cheap but not dangerous enough in spin...
  3. San Francisco looking for training partner.

haha this came in today and perfectly fitting. zhang jike loop kills his students with a tiny bat. really reminds me about the story i told by my coach that won every set against us with an iphone. people will be asking now: what cover did your coach use? can you send me link? :P maybe we...
  4. San Francisco looking for training partner.

for me it's really not looking like it has anything to do with equipment. based on the video you are way less rushed, you prepare your serves and your way of receive serves better. you have a better strategy, placement and the right footwork for the next shot combined. this made you a better...
  5. Table Tennis Crisis

just play point by point. think about how to setup a point that you can get your best shot in. take your service as an opportunity to lead into your best shot and NEVER as something you win a straight point with. when this is not working then think about why - what shot lead you to losing the...
  6. Difference in Loki Pro Rubbers

for me and my game play (or stroke i have) i need either a grippy/tacky hard rubber that i can control the trajectory of and can pressure with spin or a more softer elastic rubber where the ball sinks in more and get easy speed. there is also a certain dwell that i feel either by a tacky...
  7. Backhand Rakza 7 vs C1 vs G1 vs Vega Korea vs Vega Japan vs D09c

i don‘t think it matters if you play max or 2,0 because in nittakus range it will just be 1mm thicker with some wiggleroom. maybe your superthick is already 2,1? i think you will not notice so much and will adapt anyway looking at how you play. don‘t overthink it, put on the 09c and just play...
  8. Difference in Loki Pro Rubbers

I did now boost the rxton 3pro with one layer on the glue and did let it dry for 24 hours and played it today. so much better and more control because the softness and tension now helps with more forgiveness and control on topspin play even though the grip feel even worse now. but this is what i...
  9. Difference in Loki Pro Rubbers

But do you measure twice? Like sponge side and topsheet side? I think manufacturers just measure the sponge and that is the reason why some rubber feel harder as their claimed hardness like G-1 and Tibhar Aurus and some rubbers feel softer like Thibar MK and Hexer Powergrip. From my testing i...
  10. Difference in Loki Pro Rubbers

i did boost rxton 3 pro today with one tiny layer. i know that the rubber is already relatively soft but i thought if the topsheet gets a little stretch then it might play a bit like a normal tensor rubber. i also ordered rxton 9 in 39 and donic bluegrip c-2. do you think the hardness will...
  11. Difference in Loki Pro Rubbers

@Grumms sounds interesting! for my the combination between topsheet and sponge is also such a big part. the new tibhar hybrids felt so weird with their super soft topsheets
  12. Please make a 50d dragon grip!

i did switch between vega pro, g-1 and genius and for me they play like the same kind of generation. the only thing that stands out for me that makes g-1 so good and still compete with modern rubbers is it‘s topsheet that grips the plasticball super well! all the other rubbers either have...
  13. Backhand Rakza 7 vs C1 vs G1 vs Vega Korea vs Vega Japan vs D09c

maybe just try rakza z? a little harder and slower with a tacky topsheet that grips the ball super good with slow brushed spins that isn’t super fast and doesn‘t cost a fortune to try. if you like it, but even need it harder you can still go deeper into the hybrid world with d09, bluegrip C1 or...
  14. Andro NUZN 55 or XIOM Jekyll & Hyde c55?

i actually don‘t think that there similar without even trying them. nuzn is marketed as an hard tensor rubber with a barely sticky topsheet, so a very mild hybrid you could say, but with a new kind of approach in trajectory and ballfeel that makes it stand out as a new kind of rubber (at least...

44 degree in chinese scale? wow that must be a brick :D
  16. Most reliable and long-lasting non-tacky rubbers other than Butterfly.

Ventus Extra! for me a more modern and dynamic but a bit less spinny Nittaku G-1. Same hard and durable Topsheet that last ages and a bit more powerfull sponge. i prefere Ventus over G-1 on backhand don‘t know of any other two rubber by ESN that last as long as those too.
  17. Please make a 50d dragon grip!

if you want responsiveness then maybe you don't need a hybrid on backhand then? what about a really grippy tensor like tenergy05, nittaku g-1, vega x or even something even more responsive like tibhar MX-D? did you tried that and if you did what problems you had then?
  18. Difference in Loki Pro Rubbers

today i had a chance to visit a tabletennisstore that had a lot of different rubbers that you can test on your own bat on a court right next to the store. so i left rxton 3 pro on one side and put bluegrip c2, tibhar k3, codexx el 52 and another tacky rubber that i forgot the name of because i...
  19. Difference in Loki Pro Rubbers

@TensorBackhand ok so maybe i try a rxton 5 too! but i think i‘ll go first with rxton 9 and from there on i‘ll get a general overview of chinese rubbers - i hope so at least
