Ljubjana was Togami's best shot at a title, and now he came back empty handed as usual, dang it

Tell me you're joking

Hayata's wrist injury and Lim's waist injury is too fatal, their game became much less active, not to mention affecting their core techniques

there's no rob, Harimoto done has 4 game points at the 3rd set and got overtake, he need an overhaul on his forehand and footwork before talking about any potential here

watch this game reveal major problem in Togami's mentality, he's just to burning and ended up burned out. 3rd game 7-1 to 17-15, even made 3 service error and one cost the 4th set. His technique has improved yes but he can't seem to calm himself down, excessive shouting won't help when the thing...

Tbh Togami attacking style will surpass sooner of later, but he was lacking too much in other area before to take the torch

Togami 3-0 Xu Haidong (7,8,8) Heyyy, Togami score like 90% of his point with his fh, that's a good sight to see, Xu did have a difficult serve but everytime it went a bit long Togami responded aggressively. Dude even win by defense on 8-7 and match point??

The mens double champs already out lmao, both Togami and Shinozuka didn't look ready at all

wow, Shi XY just passed Nagasaki 3-0, might be a serious contender for the title this time

And for each ball won he screamed his lungs out, wasting energy. Ueda please make him play with a ductape over his mouth

Ueda should replay this match over and over again, his student weakness is on full display here

Still a long way to go for Togami, still can't work his mind straight at game points (10-8 to 10-12 at the 5th), waste to many leads,. Sure his execution of technique has been improved, he can block, lob then counter attack to score points, but the wits just wasn't there to help him overcome

Togami, I've seen some growth in you, more reliable in pushes/short touch, less mindless bh flicks and better defensive game. The 2024 Zenihon final must have ran through his mind in the 5th set, dude focused and dead silent

not really, that's Xue Fei true level. He has a decent backhand and good raw power, that's about it. Shinozuka was in trouble with his serve for more than the first half of the game but he was able to withstand and slowly correct the match to his flow. In the 3 final games Shinozuka pinned Xue's...

For most chinese rubber if you don't boost them, it will take about a week to 'break in' the rubber. I've played with some Yinhe product before (Big Dipper 1-2, Mercury 2) and i can say regardless what they advertise about 'max tense' technology, these rubbers are dead slow for the first 2-3...

Hugo's absolute monster of a performance aside, the chinese fan attitude this match is obnoxious. Not even cheering Lin properly (the best he got was a 'Chinese team come on'), even during ceremony they only cheer for WCQ. From what I read on his fandom, it seems that they want Lin to lose just...

He lose a lot of points due to error in short touch and push, I hope the JNT staff can notice this and give him more training on this matter

If it's not Adam Bobrow then consider it unintelligent ramblings

Togami and Lin GY is doing the spiderman pointing meme right now lmao

As for technique, I remembered Sora was trained in China when he was young, there were clips of him playing against older kids in the provincial team. He adopts a wide fh span similar to Chinese style rather than a compact one like his teammates. But psychologically he's like Niwa, rely too much...
