Why not check out Andro Hexer Grip and Powergrip. These are very nice rubbers with a lot of grip and very controllable. The Xiom Omega V Tour is also a really nice rubber. Very good spin and control and not too bouncy.
Now this is a short side spin serve How To Short Sidespin Serve Like Timo Boll | Butterfly Table Tennis - YouTube
But the technique is similar. You have to find the mix with the angle you hit the ball and speed in your stroke. The height that you have to hit the ball at is pretty similar in most...
Hi. Why are you looking at Tibhar Aurus Sound? What's your play style, and how long have you played? I have played with Aurus Sound for a while. I felt it was a light, soft, allround rubber that would work fine on many blades, but nothing special in any way.
Hi. It seems like you have steep learning curve and if you want to go a bit faster, but with good control and not spending a fortune. I play myself with this blade: DHS Power G5X https://revspin.net/blade/dhs-power-g-pg5x.html and if you like DHS H3N, why not go with a bit harder sponge? I tried...
I tried the Big Dipper IV 38 deg about a year ago, and I found it to be a disappointment really. Same number on the top sheet as Big Dipper, but the sponge was a slower one. My training partner thought he turned pro over night :) It was slower, the sponge was not pre-glued, so something...
That's for sure, but I always wait for the glue to completely dry. Else it doesn't hold. And I haven't used booster before, so there's nothing that should expand the rubber then I think?
Well. The original 729 V-6 blade is a smaller one, but I'm always careful so I don't stretch new rubbers when putting them on. What I have experienced is that softer sponged rubbers tend to shrink more. I mean the first 3-5 times I move the rubbers, there's no problem. Usually when I put it in a...
If you have played with pips-out, there will be a massive difference if you go with Rakza 7/7 Soft. This is a very spinny rubber compared to pips-out. Perhaps you should check out 729 Focus III Snipe in 42/44 deg hardness before you go to Rakza or similar. This one is lighter, and not that spin...
Well. I tried this setup for about half an hour yesterday. Yinhe EC-14 carbon blade and Stiga DNA PRO M (boosted three layers). It was quite nice. Not unplayable at all and it just felt a bit faster than before, and still very controllable. Now the EC-14 blade is pretty fast, but the feeling was...
Yes. I tried this one. I recall it was quite spinny, but not like H3N, and fast for a Chinese rubber. I found it very consistent, but I played it on a 729 V6 blade (I think). Very good for flat hard hits as well, so not just for brushing and so...
I think that the best would be some all wood allround blade, not so heavy and a lighter linear rubber like 729 Focus III Snipe 42/44deg. Really good start setup for a younger player, I think.

I glued it on a Yinhe blade this morning, but I was a bit tired, so I started from the bottom. Anyway, the picture is taken a bit from the side and as you see there's about up to 2mm of rubber missing in some places. But if I start glueing from the top instead and just stretched it a little, it...
I never press much when rolling on the rubber, so I don't think so. I've noticed that some rubbers just shrink, often when they have a softer sponge. My H3N's never shrink, but I have some Andro Rasanter R37 and Heger Grip SFX that gets smaller every time I glue them :)
