I see your point and fully agree with that. But let me remind you how Victas treats their rubber names. It way worse imo.

  4. 2.9 mm sponge thickness... Why?

Hi everyone, I am curious to know why Der Materialspezialist released three new TTR Hunter Extrem Soft, Medium and Hard rubbers in 2.6 and 2.9mm thickness. Are they just making it thicker for marketing purposes to get more sales or is there a benefit to such thick sponges? I am currently...
  5. Butterfly Dimitrij Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC Review

For me the handle is alright. I don't use grip tape nor edge tape as I want maximum feeling.
  6. Butterfly Dignics 64 alternative.

MX-P 50 is the closest rubber in terms of feeling when blocking and punching.
  7. What Are Hybrid Table Tennis Rubbers and Why Are They So Popular Nowadays?

Thanks for your input. I always thought Jekyll and Hyde was pure hybrid.
  8. What Are Hybrid Table Tennis Rubbers and Why Are They So Popular Nowadays?

I tried Dignics 09c and Gewo Codexx 53 superselect. The stickiness difference is very noticable. Codexx reminded me of slightly sticky Dignics 64 or MX-P 50, while D09c felt closer to Hurricane 3. I just want to know towards which side these rubbers lean on: Bluestar, NUZN, K3, Jekyll & Hyde...

Hi all, We seem to categorize rubbers by DHS, Butterfly and ESN types (maybe more?), but I am wondering if same categorization can be applied for blades, or is it more complicated than that? Has anyone every did a blind test with outer or inner ALC blades of different brands to figure out...
  14. FH issue: i dun wanna smash no moar, i wanna spin moar. help!

Best way to stop smashing is put on unboosted Hurricane 3. This will force you to loop everything ;)
  15. Post your latest EJ purchase

I played it once so it's hard to give a comparison so soon. I also ordered the blade sealing so that can also affect the feeling. First impressions - stiffer, more woody feeling, better feedback, but bouncier, more direct, less arc, strong spin generation and brush feeling when serving tomahawk.
  16. Synteliac ZCI for sale (Germany only)

Interesting, I am not from Germany, but thinking of getting this exact setup in the future (C48 2.0mm BH and C53 MAX FH). Tried Rasanter C53 and it felt very pleasant for me, more pleasant than other hybrids. Paired really nice with my Ovtcharov blade, but I wanted more more forward trajectory...
  17. Tensor vs Hybrid rubbers

Would you say Rasanter C series and Genextion is in the middle ground or tensor hybrids? They have more stickiness than something like Gewo Codexx or Donic Bluegrip, but less sticky than Dignics 09c, Rakza Z
  18. Andro NUZN50 as faster alternative of Fastarc G-1?

Tibhar released MX-P infinity who supposedly has better durability than the retro version. It's also ~51 degree hardness
  19. Tensor vs Hybrid rubbers

For me it was too bouncy on passive contact and too slow on offensive shots. I liked it more on forehand, because I loop with my FH. Maybe a thinner sponge would work on my BH. I have MAX thickness.
  20. Tensor vs Hybrid rubbers

I like hybrid rubbers because they help with service receive and pace variation (drop shots are better). And I like tensor rubbers for the smashing and counter punching. Not hybrids are the same though, some have very little stickiness where the ball barely lifts before dropping down...
