  1. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Tried both Glayzer and Dignics 05. I wouldn't say Glayzer is Dignics-lite, but rather Zyre-lite as the feeling of the ball sink matches more while Dignics feels different. I would suggest FastArc G-1 or Tibhar Hybrid MK as dignics-lite rubbers.
  2. Rubber arc height and length discussion

Have you tried different thickness of R7 later on in your career. I wonder how much 0.2 or 0.3 mm can influence the distance and height of the arc.
  3. Forehand swing/stroke

As long as your forehand loop gets the ball on opponent's table and isn't comfortable for him to return then all is good. Different players have their own strokes and you adapt based on your current equipment, table distance, opponent's shot and even the environment you are playing at.
  4. Rubber arc height and length discussion

I tried D05 and D64, but not D80. Can't tell the arc height difference in gameplay, but the length difference is very noticable.
  5. Which ESN (or Jap) rubber is closest to H3 orange provincial (non NEO)?

Non-NEO? I don't think there's an ESN rubber that would match a non-NEO hurricane. Even Bluegrip C1 with 60 hardness has catapult.
  6. Rubber arc height and length discussion

Just out of curiousity, Zyre 03 and Dignics 64 both have long lengths, but the heights of the arcs differs. How does that affect gameplay away from the table?
  7. Rubber arc height and length discussion

Is it true that 05 is meant for close to the table, 80 mid-zone and 64 far away?
  8. Rubber recommendations for a counter-attacker

When boosted does it behave like Tenergy 05?
  9. Rubber arc height and length discussion

Hey guys, I would like to discuss the arcs (throw angles) of table tennis rubbers. Butterfly has made an image for tenergy and dignics line, showing the arc differences between 05, 80 and 64 models. Yasaka also has this example with Rakza rubbers Donic has two graphs, but they show...
  10. Butterfly Dimitrij Ovtcharov Innerforce ALC Review

I agree it can be tricky to play close to the table using this blade, but with Glayzer rubbers it was doable. Tried Rozena as well, but Glayzer felt more suitable for my close to the table aggression.
  11. Post your latest EJ purchase

All 3 were on discount and I want to compare this with my Ovtcharov ALC
  12. Rubber recommendations for a counter-attacker

Sponge thickness is more important 1.5 - 1.8 mm is ideal for blocker / contra playstyle near the table. Pairing with innerforce blade and tacky rubbers give you strong backspin options and deadly drop shots
  13. Harimoto Innerforce ALC vs Dimitrij Ovtcharov ALC for my new set up?

Sure, but you would still need some time to adapt to the speed, contact point, dwell time and arc of the setup. Even regluing the same rubbers on the same blade won't give you the exact same feeling. Even the table composition and area size affects the ball behavior. I have to readjust my...
  14. Harimoto Innerforce ALC vs Dimitrij Ovtcharov ALC for my new set up?

I tried FH blocking with Dignics 09c 2.1 mm on Ovtcharov ALC and Timo Boll ALC. The difference is night and day. You can really feel the innerforce absorbing pace on blocks, while with Timo Boll the ball leave with almost identical speed back to opponent. I would say the length and power of the...
  15. Harimoto Innerforce ALC vs Dimitrij Ovtcharov ALC for my new set up?

Ovtcharov ALC is fast, but has a deep hold when you swing hard. Harimoto ALC is more tame on passive play, but doesn't stay on the racket as long as the Ovtcharov or Korbel on hard impacts.
  16. Tibhar Infinity MX-P and MX-S will be released on May 11!

What about the hold? Does the ball stay a bit like Dignics before shooting out or does it pop immediately like Tenergy?
  17. Tibhar Infinity MX-P and MX-S will be released on May 11!

Curious how Infinity MX-P compares with Zyre-03 as TT11 did a blind test and said Z03 felt similar to MX-P 50
  18. Harimoto super alc x harimoto zlc

Makes sense as innerforce blades have more hold, so the ball stays longer and produces more RPS upon the same stroke
  19. Inner / outer carbon hybrid blades?

Interesting that they market the inner carbon for BH. I personally prefer hold on forehand loops and direct outer carbon kick on backhand for effortless blocking / countering near the table.
