  1. Boosting short pips?

Never heard about the soft sponge version but why bother, soft sponges are overrated. I have a boosted 802-40 mystery III in the moment fitted to a Victas blockman II and can get good spin out of it. Can use it fine with BH serves but flipping incoming backspin is not in my capabilities...
  2. "Not clear" serve is еxplicitly prohibited by the Rule 2.6

There is of course quite a bit of "power "involved being a ref. They might never admit to it and might always declare that they are doing their work strictly for the benefit of the sport. Be that as it may , when the chips will all be on the table and it comes down to the question ...
  3. "Not clear" serve is еxplicitly prohibited by the Rule 2.6

Many refs can't even do a proper coin toss. I expect nothing from them. 😂
  4. Prescription Glasses advice

I tried contact as well but I had problems putting them in and even greater problems getting the out. I actually hold the world record for "forgetting to take the contact out of 1 eye for 31 days" :ROFLMAO:
  5. Prescription Glasses advice

maybe one should ask the Lebrun brothers. I have been wearing glasses for years, tried little ones, big ones etc. but never been really happy with any of them. One advise or suggestion I can give is make sure the lenses are anti-glare treated.
  6. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

So true. I just scored a Rxton 3pro for Nz$ 11 but there is another seller offering it for Nz$ 34. One has to do ones shopping diligently 😁
  7. Expensive table tennis blades.. why not?

Sure sure and it also happened to some "unreasonably priced" Butterfly blades. I can still remember the photos shown here in the forum of blades that had big bits of the outerply missing and the lovely blue/black ALC showing. I have bought once an innerforce ALC BTY but sold it again because...

you are avin a larf , right ??? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: I blame it all on those long cold dark winters and the aquavit. 😂
  10. Since when did Kallberg change his name to Shallberry?

Now I am not complaining about anything I am just amused. Take Kristian Karlsson. His name also starts with " KA " is it ok if I now pronounce his name like Shellson ???? I mean, it is a free world right ? 😂
  11. Difference between these two glues?

Yes it does and furthermore one can pull the glue off the rubber also very easy, often pulling the whole sheet off in one piece. This is how it was always advertised in the promo-videos of Revolution 3 glue but with that glue it only worked if one had about 4 layers on the rubber. The Sueke glue...
  12. Difference between these two glues?

It said it for me too and so i contacted the seller and he shipped it to me anyway. Now with the 11.11 sale on there are specials, NZ$ 13 plus NZ$ 11postage
  13. Difference between these two glues?

I use SUEKE and it is better than DHS 15 and Revolution3. The suke is rubbish and several people reported problems with it. You get what you pay for. Try to get the Sueke when through some promo postage is free.
  14. WTT Champions Frankfurt 2024

We must have different eyes because i see her clearly tossing it UP to the height of her face. Admittedly I am wearing the "roes-pink glasses" which appear on my face automatically whenever I see Ding Ning.
  15. Please advice TT shoes for slippery floors

I have never been able to use my Mizuno wave drive 8 s because the floors in both clubs are so dirty I would fall on my arse repeatedly. I am now forced to use a a walking shoe, a New Balance 608. There is no sense in complaining about the dirty floors, nobody will clean them. Everybody just...
  16. How do I know if a rubber type is for me?

If you choose not to take the long way of patiently trying many different rubbers , the only other option is to become a believer. You will have to listen to a lot of specialists and experts and then believe what they say is supposed to work for you , it hardly ever does. Give the process...
  17. 1 ply Hinoki Clear Epoxy Around prevents breaking

Maybe ! Epoxy resin along the edge will just harden the edge but this will not make it less susceptible to breaking. A thin band of wood or fiber glass however will do that.
  18. 1 ply Hinoki Clear Epoxy Around prevents breaking

Sounds like build in obsolescence. 😁
  19. 1 ply Hinoki Clear Epoxy Around prevents breaking

If you do not just apply epoxy resin around all the edges but also a light fiberglass with it, this would indeed help to protect the edges from splintering. The edges would of course then be like a "hardened ring " around the blade. What this would do to the performance of the hinoki blade, as...
