  1. Flexible blade hard rubbers, even for looper?

I think rubbers on the harder side is almost always better, as long as they are not rockhard or the blade is very hard and stiff.
  2. Serve and attack strategies

Have very little time so this will be very basic. serve -> proably possible return, or most the times Short serve with backspin -> short return or long push. At lower levels more long push. Short nospin, sidetop, topspin serve -> high push or flip. Very high level can push short. Long serve...
  3. Generating crazy spin in serves

Same answer. I do not think people serve the same, they find out what works. As long as you brush the ball thin and fast at impact it do not matter how you do it. But i do not think spin is the most important stuff, or not the only one. Do not forget deception, placement, variation and that you...
  4. Generating crazy spin in serves

No rules in how to serve. Just imagination and practice. Spend an 30 minuter to an hour after every practice and you will have good serves :) Good luck!

  6. DHS Dragonow (good or bad) ?

Do not know. Not Good with degrees. How long have you played for and at What level? Still think this is not good for players that are not at a very high level, even think that very few really really good players would use it because there is not good control. I have used short pimple for over...
  7. Serve & placement to minimize opponent options

Try looking at the opponent and not the ball so much. Better to focus on your style of play and adapt little to the opponent. So it is different from opponent to opponent.
  8. DHS Dragonow (good or bad) ?

I have not Tried it much. One of my players went from unboosted dolphin to dragonow. I think it feels harder than both the dolphin and the 802 40. I just played a few balls with it and i could play with it okay. But the control is not so good because it feels so hard so i think you need to be at...
  9. DHS Dragonow (good or bad) ?

Very very hard and little grip. 802 40 better in my opinion.
  10. The "old" blades - still a valid option or not

i think it is alot of personal preference. Many of the old blades are made of just wood, which many think give more feeling. While many new blades are made of wood and another material, so the feeling is proably not the same but they are proably a bit faster.

  13. Is it worth serving short ? - for amateurs

It is good to be able to serve long. Your short serves will become much better if you sometimes serve long. But not smart to serve long all the time.
  14. Is it worth serving short ? - for amateurs

In my opinion many players, even somewhat good players think they can push long well But many is pretty bad at it. Good to know how to push aggressive and just not only put it over the net. Long serves proably also work good today because many players want to go in to Do the banana flip. Long...
  15. Is it worth serving short ? - for amateurs

I think it can work well to push long on serves, as long as it is quality pushes. Maybe better to push the ball back good, and be ready to block a somewhat easy ball because of a good push instead of doing a bad flick, short push or opening loop and get harder ball against you. I also think...
  16. Is it worth serving short ? - for amateurs

Half long serves is better than short serves in my opinion. I often serve to short.
  17. Is it worth serving short ? - for amateurs

Harder to Do a good long serve than a good short serve in my opinion. Ger punished alot if the long serve is bad. Also depends on your blocking game and their looping game.
