I am a swede and i have trained serve at the same time as him and asked him for advice and he is a really nice Guy But i think he throws the ball back alot and hides the ball a little. Surprised that he Do not get faulted more Times.
  2. Phone stand to record during lesson or tournaments.

A tripod and a holder for the phone.
  3. Tibhar Force Pro Blue (Why are Stiff blades better for short pimples?)

Post a video where you only play backhand to backhand. That would help you more. Or atleast a match against an offensive player. We can not say much about your backhand from that video. Short pimple is not really suppose to be "good" against that playing style.
  4. Tibhar Force Pro Blue (Why are Stiff blades better for short pimples?)

My math is not very good, but if you have only used it since january this year it is not alot of time. I think you can now in a pretty short amount of time if it suits you, but it takes a much longer time to play well with it. So my advice to you is tthis: Try to train more with the short...
  5. Learning technique the right way

Shadow training is really good. He should do some in front of the mirror aswell so he knows how it looks. I do alot of shadow training with my students. To hard to learn new stuff with a ball in the beginning. But very important to do the strokes and footwork correct so you do not learn wrong stuff.
  6. Tibhar Force Pro Blue (Why are Stiff blades better for short pimples?)

How long have you used short pimple? Not really the same technique as inverted so need time.
  7. Learning technique the right way

There are No rigth ways to learn or Do a technique. More like guidelines. But he plays pretty good haha
  8. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

The power comes from the body, the spin from the arm.
  9. Tibhar Force Pro Blue (Why are Stiff blades better for short pimples?)

I think this is also personal preference. With my short pips on the forehand i like it if it feels hard and sturdy. While Mattias Falck proably like the softer feel, since he use Rakza PO that in my opinion is soft and he proably boost it alot so it becomes even softer. It proably also...
  10. Tibhar Force Pro Blue (Why are Stiff blades better for short pimples?)

I can imagine that they are more hard so they are less bouncy, the arc is lower and the ball leaves the racket faster. This suits a playing style with short pips.
  11. GRIP and how it affects technique

You think to much black and white. Read the answers again. If you loop you hold both loose and tight. Tight all the time and your wrist and forearm Will be tense so you can not move it fast enough. Too loose and nothing Will happen. Need to stop the stroke after rhe impact to get power and...
  12. GRIP and how it affects technique

Both loose and hard. You use both in many strokes. Moore loose in the beginning and more tense when you hit the ball. I also think many players are more tense with the thumb and the rest relaxed when playing bh and more tense with the finger and the rest relaxed when playing forehand. I think...
  13. Is ma long the GOAT ?

I know this is a thread about the GOAT But it would be interesting to hear about other impressive achievements by players. There is alot of hard work and talant behind Ma Longs success But i feel that the chinese proably is the best partielly because they train much more than anyone else from a...
  14. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Is he playing seriously? Or are he joking? Do not know about amazing shots, looks like he have been playing in a basement for over 20 years. I find a bit arrogant against his opponents. Feel the same way when Bobrow plays.
  15. Need some advice

I would also Do it earlier så you are sure they are ready.
  16. Ask Mattias Falck a question!

I think it would be more fun to see how good he loops with an inverted on the forehand.
  17. Ask Mattias Falck a question!

I can imagine player with shorter strokes have to tense to stop the stroke and then it takes time to relax again. While Maybe Mattias with a longer stroke Do not tense as much due to the longer stroke and Do not lose time on becoming relaxed.
  18. Ask Mattias Falck a question!

It looks like you change grip somewhat much between bh and fh. Have you always Done this? Did this come naturally or is it something you Did on purpose and have worked on? I notice that you sometimes work around and loop against backspin with your short pimple. Why Do you Do this? For...
  19. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Do not have much of slumps But if i Do it is because of hesitation, the timing is off, bad footwork, bad serve and return. I think it always have a cause and it is one or more above. Proably for you too.
  20. Is ma long the GOAT ?

I think many of Ma Longs current opponents are playing more like robots compared to Waldner. With smaller ball and hidden serve i think Ma Long Will have a hard time. I think many here Maybe focus to much on the offensive flashy strokes that Ma Long has. So they think waldner would be beaten...
