What a fight from Kotomi Omoda to come back against Hana Arapovic (who beat Kyoka Idesawa)!
  2. WTT Feeder Havirov 2025, 5 Apr - 9 Apr 2025

Kotomi Omoda takes down Italy's number one. Well done!
  3. WTT Feeder Havirov 2025, 5 Apr - 9 Apr 2025

A nice win for Daniela Ortega:
  4. WTT Feeder Havirov 2025, 5 Apr - 9 Apr 2025

MLTT's, Kotomi Omoda, and Japan junior Yuhi Sakai went thru qualifiers and beat the #2 Seed XD pair of Ban / Arapovic. Kotomi has really worked on her receive game which I felt was relatively poor during MLTT season 2 in comparison to the rest of her game.
  5. WTT Feeder Havirov 2025, 5 Apr - 9 Apr 2025

Sato/Muramatsu win 11-9 in the XD decider. Team Malaysia put up quite a good fight.
  6. WTT Feeder Havirov 2025, 5 Apr - 9 Apr 2025

Who puts a high interest matchup of XD Team Malaysia vs. Team Japan on Table 6 where there's no livestream? Don't they read TTD?
  7. WTT Feeder Havirov 2025, 5 Apr - 9 Apr 2025

She's second best chopper after Hashimoto and not on the National Team so has to pay her own way or find sponsors to attend tournaments. Even National Team members sometimes have to pay/get sponsored depending on the tournament. Also, there's the National Entry Restrictions (NER) which limits...
  8. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

The combined talent is more than any other Mixed Doubles pair, but I'm not sure how if they've trained together before. Hitomi, for sure has immense doubles experience so I would be more concerned about Muramatsu's doubles readiness. Talent wise, they can win the title, but it will depend on...
  9. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

Hina still has chances to stay in the top 10. The World Cup is coming up next week. After the World Cup, she has Contender Tunis. Then in May, there the World Championships. So the chances are there, but I just hope she stays healthy.
  10. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

Difficult to say because there styles are very different. They both played well, but I think Mima maximized her style a bit better than Miwa. I think CXT was under more pressure from Mima than she was from Miwa even though she should have been under more pressure from Miwa since she's never...
  11. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

ZYL has in effect done the bidding of the CNT by taking out the Japanese on her path to the SF. A creative way of getting around the NER limit.
  12. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

In the moment, I thought it was edge but it was so close it could have gone either way.
  13. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

Tough loss, but a good experience for Odo. And Odo is getting better with experience, but it's gonna take time. But National Coach Nakazawa has his work cut out for him. Miwa's doing fine, but he has to bring everyone else's level up at a better pace.
  14. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

Great lineup so far: KM vs. Miwa, Sora vs. LYJ, and now Odo vs, ZYL.
  15. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

Miwa just pummeled Kuai Man 4-0 ! She continues like this, she's gonna take this title.
  16. Nagasaki: "I've never liked table tennis that much to begin with..." (#1169)

Miu Hirano must be pinning her hopes on doing well at the World Championships in May because she did not sign up for either Contender Taiyuan (next week) or Contender Tunis (near end of Apr). She will most likely fall below Kihara and probably Hashimoto (and outside chance of Nagasaki) because...
  17. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

I thought QTY was going to pull it off against WYD, but she loses 3-2,13-11. Always seems to be on the verge of a breakthrough, but can't quite do it. Nonetheless, she's got Contender Taiyuan next week to look forward to. Odo solved the Szocs problem from Fukuoka. Now she has a bigger task...
  18. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

ZYL has taken down Odo, Hirano, and now HIna. Ok, now I'm curious what a Mima Ito vs. Zhu Yuling rematch would look like.. If ZYL lures CM to Macao, the JNT is gonna be in big trouble.
  19. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

No such disrepect from me in the link you provided. And that's rich coming from someone who, among other things, calls Hayata dumb, Mima Ito washed up, and referred to Odo as teammate killer. Your history on TTD is well known.
  20. WTT Feeder Otocec II-2025

Congratulations to Hitomi Sato for winning women's singles over 3-2,11-6 over Choi Hyojoo. Prior to today, Choi had a 6-2 record over Hitomi, but the last time they played was in 2018. Yuta Tanaka and Simon Gauzy are battling it out right now for the men's singles title as I type this.
