  1. Blades with weight balance like Viscaria(less head-heavy)

Interesting you dont find the Ynihe pro 1 head heavy, I think its handle is partially hollow and when I put heavy rubbers on it like battle 2 (39) or D09c it can feel a bit head heavy. It felt the yinhe pro 1 with lighter rubbers like D05, rozenna etc it was more balanced. :)
  2. Blades with weight balance like Viscaria(less head-heavy)

A slightly slower less head heavy blade -butterfly outerforce alc
  3. Butterfly Outerforce blades

Found the right combination now with the outerforce, Nitakku hammond z2 2 mm FH and battle 2 (39) backhand. Its quite fast with the hammond rubber and still very controllable.
  4. DHS Inner Carbon Blades Comparison: Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Long 5 & B2X

Thanks - so I understand what you are saying, the B2X is second or last for control?? - throw wise - short or long ? Thanks
  5. DHS Inner Carbon Blades Comparison: Sun Yingsha, Wang Chuqin, Long 5 & B2X

I know control is subjective -how would you rate the control of each? And shortest to longest throw?
  6. Why are Evolution rubbers still less popular than tenergy?

Yes control is hard to quantify - but I mean more easy to use rubber (Forgiving and easy manage in most scenarios) for intermediates like me. Tenergy 05 probably isnt the best if you dont have great technique - I find I can easily overshoot the table with my shots, and the rubber is spin...
  7. Why are Evolution rubbers still less popular than tenergy?

How do they compare with tenergy in control? I heard these lose their boost quickly and a heavy rubber? I tried the t05 not enough control in short game - to spin sensitive. Currently using t19 - much better.
  8. I'm looking for a new blade

Is g09c and Rozena to slow for you on that blade?
  9. Razka XX (max)-weight of a cut rubber?

Thanks for the info, is the xx spin sensitive , for example returning spinny serves and keeping the ball short?
  10. I'm looking for a new blade

The Freitas, is slightly slower and a little more controllable than viscaria/fzd and Timo boll alc. slightly softer, more dwell and feeling due to limba outer ply. It's one of the blades I use. A good all round blade. A good blade if you move up from inner carbon blade. If you want a cheap outer...
  11. I'm looking for a new blade

Sorry I may have missed it - what is your current blade and rubbers?
  12. Razka XX (max)-weight of a cut rubber?

Thanks very helpful. How did the xx compare with Rx for speed spin and control? Did you like the ribber in how it played? I hear it's in the same category as dignics 05 in performance?
  13. Razka XX (max)-weight of a cut rubber?

Hi, I have used a Razka z (max) and its very heavy for a cut version for a normal size blade, around 52g. Wondering what the weight of the Razka xx is, hopefully its lighter ? . Thanks
  14. How to measure blade frequency?

    I use Decibel X, and it's free - the basic version.😊
  15. Harimoto Innerforce ALC vs Dimitrij Ovtcharov ALC for my new set up?

Hi , I found both those are quite head heavy. I found the Butterfly innerforce alc more balanced. Its the same as the harimoto version but has a smaller head (normal size head). I moved from a Korbel blade to the innerforce, a nice upgrade in speed but still maintained some of that wood feel. :)
  16. Removing glue from rubber before reusing?

I changed from butterfly glue to dhs 15 as much easier to get the glue off.
  17. Modern Butterfly path forward for intermediate players

The upgrade path also depend on the blade too. Some blades suit certain kinds of rubbers. A know a person who was using tenergy 05 on their Viscaria and it was to uncontrollable so they went to Rozena, still had plenty of speed but now more control. Rozena on a real flexible blade like Acoustic...
  18. FH Rubber upgrade recommendation for FZD ALC (Club/Provincial Level)

Hammond z2, feels good on the FH on FZD alc too, faster and more crisp than D05 without losing control.
  19. Butterfly Outerforce blades

Well said, a good allrounder blade with stability and control. It feels in the middle between inner and outer carbon blades - . Has more dwell than most outer blades and a little more direct and pop than most inner blades. The other blades that I like that are outer carbon that are a touch...
  20. Best BH rubber for Butterfly Viscaria ALC with Dignics 09C on FH?

On the backhand- a friend uses t19 on his viscaria, I use glayzer 09 on my FZD alc.
