I'm from Bulgaria. Aliexpress - Global Sports Store - this is where I get my 729 Battle 2 National (previously preferred the dhs-729.eu, but it seems like 729 now is only left in the domain :( ) - 2-3 weeks * tt-store.eu - Yaasaka, Donic, Victas and DHS balls (as this shop is located in my city)...

Is this the new Penhold meta: stay close to the table and counter off the bounce? Seems like it is for Dang Qiu and Felix.. (This looks like the opposite of Xu Xin :) )

Didn't watch the tournament itself - only some youtube videos, but hey - first to 7... Whaaat?? Like - are our matches too long? What's the point of this? Do you think the pros don't fight for each point when they play to 11 points? Or does the crowd enjoy a match that finishes in 8 minutes...

I am in love with 729 Battle 2 - this has been my go to rubber for years. Started from regular version (without boosting) and slowly transitioned to National version (no boosting). I have no idea if it is factory boosted or not (pretty sure the regular version is not), but for me it plays the...

Guys, what is that thing on Miwa's wrist? And what's it's purpose? I saw the same thing is also used by Hayata.. Is this because of some "wrist problems" or some type of light-weight sweat absorber?

Watched some matches on the arena yesterday. Remi Betelu was the one to watch mostly - some great points and suprising variation. He took down two strong players on Saturday and it was very impressive. Cedric (the champion) was also very nice to look at - very strong FH and BH with some great...

I don't have a lot of experience with different blades, but from my point of view the one I currently use - Joola Xylo 7 - is exactly what's discussed. It's rather stiff with nice wooden feeling. I would assume the Xylo 5 version to be less stiff with even more feeling, but for me the Xylo 7 is...

Imagine the coach yellin to Duda before WCQs serve at 9:10 in very clear English (so that WCQ undestands) : "Challenge his serve". And WCQ would be under more pressure 🤣

Yeah - this is the current flaw of this system.. Actually the umpire should have automatic data after each serve.. Like a live-system that analyzes and based on that system the umpire should fault serves directly after them being done.. and this is not actually so hard in terms of technology...

The serve on 9:10 was for a challenge of verticality.. would be a nice lesson for WCQ.

I read in a youtube comment (most reliable source ever) that LSS said that he injured his forearm muscle in set 1. This would make more sense to me :)

If you want to just crop stuff from your video without a complicated UI - try Avidemux. Learning curve - learn to use the arrows, and 2-3 key combinations and you can edit a match pretty quickly (like a 15 minutes match can take you less than 15 minutes when you get used to it) If you want...

What's going on with these hand switches in Frankfurt??

I watched Odo live in Bulgaria - and her game against choppers is super impressive. Great placement and some lethal FH shots with so much snap that you actually can not believe it's possible for her to produce such shots.

I think yes. It's not impossible - the important part is to meet the ball right after the bounce. I am sure they can do this, but also pretty sure in most cases they will try to do something else to a topspin serve.

Ok, yes, my bad :) Well, the logic stays mostly the same - can't say there's big difference between the Nat and the Prov versions. I play with the Nat version (unboosted) and it's either you do quality shots with good effort, or the shots are not a problem to the opponent(and still - B2 is much...

The difference between B2 Nat and Prov is not very big. What's more interesting to me is that you write that you've lost top end speed.. I would say that Bat 2 Prov has great gears and a rather serious top end speed. The National version may be a liiiiitle bit faster, but not by much. So I would...

I play with Friendship Battle 2 Nat 38 without booster on my FH.. When I try my collegues rackets (usually with some D09C, Blueaster A1 or whatever) I always feel like it's so much easier to do stuff with their rackets. Blocks are effortless, hitting is nice, the feeling is great.. But when I...

Watched the last two days live in the arena - some great matches! About the tournament standards - I think they even improved some things - in the beginning (before WTT) the spectators were allowed to go to the second part of the hall and there they could very often clash with the players and...
