It's obvious that equipment doesn't have control. It's just that doing certain things is easier with certain equipment than others, depending on what you're trying to achieve. But in the end, the difference isn't that big as long as we're talking about relatively "standard" equipment. Though it...

Eslöv (Truls team) played Söderhamn UIF just now in the final for the league win. Wow, it was intense. I only managed to catch the last singles match on stream, Tom Jarvis lost and it was down to the doubles. Kosiba (Eslöv) also lost to japanese player Koji Uezu after being up 2-0, 7-2. Truls...

Match 2, straight after the previous match: This guys style is a bit different, but he's quite consistent and has beaten some good players. Haven't played since then. This is probably my last competitive match for some time. If I can get my body in check I will try to play some tournaments...

You are right though, there is a psychological element to it as well that causes tightening + lack of experience against the opponent and other things I'm sure. But with some movements I am more careful than I used to be.

I had also played the whole day and because of my injuries I'm a little bit "careful" with my movements

I was incredibly frustrated this match, as you'll see in my body language. I couldn't block the guys loop, I had some poor execution on some "easier" balls and didn't start thinking about how to play the guy until too late. I played one more match right after this one that I'll post soon. I...

Everything suggests that this is the approach I should take as well. I complain about my own game a lot in real matches. I've been back and forth trying to do something about it. Sometimes I've managed to be totally quiet no matter what, but each time I did that it took a lot of self control. I...

That's usually how I feel in training. But, because I usually train with the same guys and have relatively limited exposure compared to them, playing others in real matches is quite different for me. I feel like I have to be more focused as I don't know exactly what's coming. I can really see...

I remember reading Bounce way before I started taking table tennis seriously. Oh how my mind has changed about things. I've tried that "it is only Table Tennis" line before. Couldn't remember it from the book, but I could never get stuff like that to work for me. It just doesn't matter that...

Doubles from one of the league matches yesterday. When I find some more time I will upload some singles too. These two doubles games were pretty important, winning either determined whether we would stay in division 2 or get moved down. So one win would take off the pressure and the rest of the...

I'm starting to question my sanity.. I spent 13 hours in the table tennis hall today. There was a big time gap between playing the two teams, so we were waiting hours for the other team. It was the qualification whether we would go down a division or stay, we managed to win enough to stay in...

We were wondering the same about Karlsson and Falck. I don't know why they didn't play. Källberg played against Elias Ranefur in the semis, Elias did very well to get there and pressured Källberg well. Anton won 4-3.

Wow, that's incredible!

I was at the Swedish national champs yesterday and today, there were some epic games. Truls is just too strong. Just some out of this world serve and receive, deception in the open game, power and feeling. It truly looks and feels alien to me to be able to play like that. PS. you can see the...

The coordination and control/ball feeling this man has is out of this world

Today we had a player from the UK visiting us to help us out in our final league match. What a point :D and the comment from the Danish player :ROFLMAO:

This reminds me of the time FZD said he likes eating nutella.. :ROFLMAO:

I'm still struggling with some injury in my right knee and hip, the fysio says it's muscular.. I've been pretty bad at doing the exercises lately as not much seems to help. Been a bit demotivated, but it will of course only get worse if I ignore it.. so it's time to take it more seriously again.

Thanks, but don't get tricked by the highlights :D. It's also special playing against someone you've trained with a lot. As for your question, for anyone that's interested I should probably provide a bit of context as just saying x years played doesn't say a whole lot. Maybe I'll make another...

It's not easy to win points against this guy when: 1. I can't hit hard 2. I get read like a book 3. He gets everything back A while ago we had an identical point that went on a little longer AND he got that last shot in. This is why we will try to record every match :ROFLMAO:
