On the one hand, high level TT players go for the hardest rubbers these days. On the other hand, they boost them, making them soft. So why not go for softer rubbers in the first place and what is this hate for soft rubbers?

Hi, I am looking for a faster blade, since after 12y+ my OSP Virtuoso is way too slow for me. I am currently playing with a Ma Lin Carbon that I had laying around, G1 on the FH and Tenergy19 on the BH. Don't like the handle on it though, and the craftsmanship of OSP makes me wanna get another...
