I don’t think Jpen has any disadvantage with any backhand stroke. Not saying it’s not possible to do more but it seems Cpen tpb players use tpb blocking primarily. I think the Jpen handle may offer a more secure grip for a little more powerful tpb backhand stroke

Glad you’re finding the appeal. Don’t overdo it, take it easy, let your wrist adapt. Not to overstate the obvious, but wrist adaptation should only be while you’re adjusting to TPB
