By no means I think the mk is lacking. It's more about the feeling than being capable of doing something. I'm 100% sure I could loopkill with the mk the same way I do with the k3, if not more consistently.

I've tried both and didn't like then at all. They're great, but the feeling wasn't right for me and the EH was too hard for me.

The topsheet feels very gripy even though it looks bad, I feel the only problem is the sponge feels dead-ish and way harder than when it was new.

That's exactly how it feels. The topsheet still very grippy but the sponge feels more dead than it should. I think I'll give it a try in the next few days then.

Do you think boosting a new hybrid rubber reduces its lifespan? Or it'll stay almost the same?

Well, Last month I started using hybrid rubbers (k3 and c55) and I can already feel the rubber dying out... That said, I do think it'll last some more months (even though the topsheet looks like crap, still plays very nicely), but I would like to know if boosting would revive it a little at least.

Makes sense. I have yet to try a composite blade that give me the feeling of safety that I get with an all wood blade. That said, I think that's either related to my technique not being good enough or the sample size I've tried being kinda small, either way I won't have enough money to sample...

why do you think so? Yesterday I've tried using an joola classic all and the speed and feeling was pretty good. It may not be enough for the high level, but I'm still improving my rate and game, so I don't know if what I'm missing is speed...

Didn't try the soft carbon, but I have tried a lot of inner carbon blades and I've decided to dump carbon for the time being

I really hated the OG handle, it's really small... The g-revision costs about $145 here, which isn't bad, but it's kinda expensive for me right now. I may be able to extend my budget, but it'll be on the limit.

My only fear of getting a 7-ply blade is to be too hard. I think I really like the flex feeling and I don't think something like the Koki Niwa or the Clipper will be that good for. Tbh, I may be wrong on that take, but I don't know anyone here with a spare 7-ply blade to lend me.
