  1. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

Sorry, but I kinda disagree. Maybe on the highest possible level it maybe not be enough to compete, but on regional and even national levels, an softer hybrid definitely can be deadly enough. Keep in mind when I say softer, it's not soft, the hybrid mk is about 50deg if I'm not mistaken, and...
  2. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

I bought one sheet to try it out. It should arrive by next month (by that time, my k3 should be done)
  3. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

I've used the h3n for quite some time and decided that something less demanding would be better for my game. Playing with the h3n boosted was kinda hard even during training, sometimes I could feel the sponge activating well enough, but it was nowhere near frequent enough to be applicable during...
  4. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

By no means I think the mk is lacking. It's more about the feeling than being capable of doing something. I'm 100% sure I could loopkill with the mk the same way I do with the k3, if not more consistently.
  5. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

I've tried both and didn't like then at all. They're great, but the feeling wasn't right for me and the EH was too hard for me.
  6. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

How is the feeling and playstyle? It's like a hybrid or more towards a tenergy?
  7. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

I've tried the MK but it felt like it didn't have the "kick" you know? It's kinda hard to describe. About the d09c I didn't like the feeling nor the price.
  8. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

Really? I was expecting to find at least one that would be more durable...
  9. What hybrid are you using nowadays?

I've been using the k3 on my FH since last year and I've been through 2 sheets already (which sucks a lot). That said, even though I love the rubber, it's pretty hard to sustain at this pace. What hybrid would you recommend me to look into nowadays? I'm looking for something similar-ish to the...
  10. Do you think boosting a dead-ish hybrid would give a little more life span?

The topsheet feels very gripy even though it looks bad, I feel the only problem is the sponge feels dead-ish and way harder than when it was new.
  11. Do you think boosting a dead-ish hybrid would give a little more life span?

That's exactly how it feels. The topsheet still very grippy but the sponge feels more dead than it should. I think I'll give it a try in the next few days then.
  12. Do you think boosting a dead-ish hybrid would give a little more life span?

Do you think boosting a new hybrid rubber reduces its lifespan? Or it'll stay almost the same?
  13. Do you think boosting a dead-ish hybrid would give a little more life span?

Well, Last month I started using hybrid rubbers (k3 and c55) and I can already feel the rubber dying out... That said, I do think it'll last some more months (even though the topsheet looks like crap, still plays very nicely), but I would like to know if boosting would revive it a little at least.
  14. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

Makes sense. I have yet to try a composite blade that give me the feeling of safety that I get with an all wood blade. That said, I think that's either related to my technique not being good enough or the sample size I've tried being kinda small, either way I won't have enough money to sample...
  15. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

why do you think so? Yesterday I've tried using an joola classic all and the speed and feeling was pretty good. It may not be enough for the high level, but I'm still improving my rate and game, so I don't know if what I'm missing is speed...
  16. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

The virtuoso would be great, but having 92% of taxes over the final prices is quite wild. That would make the blade cost more than $200
  17. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

Oh, sorry, I missed the zlf part. I record reading about that at some point, but never really looked into.
  18. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

Didn't try the soft carbon, but I have tried a lot of inner carbon blades and I've decided to dump carbon for the time being
  19. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

I really hated the OG handle, it's really small... The g-revision costs about $145 here, which isn't bad, but it's kinda expensive for me right now. I may be able to extend my budget, but it'll be on the limit.
  20. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

My only fear of getting a 7-ply blade is to be too hard. I think I really like the flex feeling and I don't think something like the Koki Niwa or the Clipper will be that good for. Tbh, I may be wrong on that take, but I don't know anyone here with a spare 7-ply blade to lend me.
