  1. FS: Vodak Sagittarius blade

87g used for 3h only while testing several blades Off - speed is a 7-layer wood with two layers of AP-Carbon placed in the middle of the wood. At the request of many customers, wood was created through two years of development, which has a basic feeling like whole wood, but at the same...
  2. Is any current top player better than prime Ma Long (2015-2017)?

Looking at ML BH against LGY last week I would not call it "serviceable" - those cross court counters in to the wide FH were outstanding!
  3. Aurus vs Fastarc

    Thanks - that makes sense.
  4. Aurus vs Fastarc

Thanks - I do like G1 and C1 is great on BH. Haven’t tried Hexer HD though.
  5. Avalox BT777 discontinued treasure

I’m keen if you have one closer to 90-93g
  6. Importing Butterfly Equipment from Japan

No, just talk to @Catenaccio as he’s amazing and you’ll get what you want at a good price and in no time 👍
  7. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

Sounds very promising- I’m looking forward to trying mine
  8. Aurus vs Fastarc

I’ve recently been trying Aurus and Aurus soft (BH) and been struck how similar it feels to G1/C1 in the way it behaves. I really like both of them in terms of enough speed, spin and control but also accessibility and ease of use. Has anyone else used both and if so what are your thoughts and...
  9. World Cup 2024

Ma Long - a masterclass in tactics and execution. One of the finest performances I’ve seen in a long time. Those BH to wide FH were just breathtaking 🏓
  10. Post your latest EJ purchase

I read so many of @Der_Echte posts about the joys of Aurus and Auras soft, that I finally decided to see for myself and have a sheet of each to try out (vs my D09c and D64 currently)
  11. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

My understanding is that the dead zone would be like any other area of the table except the edge - if it bounces twice on the table you lose the point, so make sure you judge that second bounce likelihood and play accordingly with a push or flick (over the table shot) - because if you leave it...
  12. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

Yes - but as the receiver it's incumbent on me to judge if the ball will bounce a second time on the table (anywhere - dead zone or not because if it bounces on the table the ball is good) and if I judge that it will, then I must take it earlier rather than wait. It is then the same as having to...
  13. Simon Gauzy was right or wrong in that point?

Wouldn’t it be incumbent on the receiver in this circumstance, to determine if the ball is going to second bounce in the dead zone(including the edge) - and if so play the ball before that happens? If it second bounces then the point is lost just like it would be in the game now (if you misread...
  14. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

Very interesting blade (looks great too) - I am keen to see how it plays compared to say the Falcima, which is also a 5 ply with Koto outer and fairly fast. I have one on the way and am interested to see how it plays..
  15. Should I "upgrade" my all-wood 5-ply Kiso Hinoki?

UnfortunatEly I have not tried the Magus - I stumbled on to the Vráblík as I picked it up used. It looks like the Vráblík is a little heavier and faster, but not by much. All I can say is that it seems to meet your requirements pretty well.
  16. TAKING ON TABLE TENNIS LEGENDS! | TTD Team vs Butterfly Legends

I couldn't agree more - just a fantastic episode of great TT, filmed and edited brilliantly and with a lot of fun thrown in - thanks TTD Team.
  17. Inner blades about 85g suggestions?

Have a look at the various Vodak options - I have a Horezsi and it's 88g but the range is lower to higher and he will customise. Fantastic blades and good value.
  18. New all-wood blade recommendations wanted

MXP is very fast and very bouncy - more so than C1 in my experience. It is an offensive and speed driven rubber with good spin (like T05 in style)
  19. Dhs H301 vs Butterfly innerforce alc blades

    My 91g H301 is around 1260hz if I recall correctly;
  20. UK Table Tennis Prospects
