Never tried that nor met anyone using it
  2. Equipment Advice

Never tried a vega pro, as far as I know X was supposed to be a newer version of the Pro?
  3. Equipment Advice

Yes its discontinued. Got it from Billiard Towne in New Jersey. Vega x was a surprisingly good rubber for the backhand. Easy to open up, block and counterspin. Coupled with this blade ,long distance backhand shots arent a problem either.D80 works well both sides, real difference between these is...
  4. Equipment Advice

Hello guys, tested my setup for nearly a month. Went for the butterfly hadraw sr(7ply wood blade) with Dignics80 on the forehand and vega x on the backhand. After having tried the korbel, clipper and tibhar spw, the Hadraw SR is just something else. Got it for 80usd near my local store.even...
  5. What should i do?

I was talking about NOT "just applying glue near the area thats coming off the bat". YOU need to remove the rubber completely and apply 2 layers of glue(safe amount, single layer is less), same as gluing a new sheet of rubber.i would recommend that you remove any previous glue residue on the...
  6. What should i do?

By that I meant just applying glue near the area thats coming off the bat.
  7. What should i do?

Use a disposable sponge for applying the glue, 2 layers on the rubbers sponge and 1 on the blade. Let each layer dry for 30 mins as a thumb rule. The glue on the sponge of the rubber will turn nearly transparent, thats when you know its almost done.Just ensure it isnt wet.And yes, turn on the fan...
  8. Equipment Advice

Thanks for the input guys. I'm not much of a blocker on the forehand side, tenergy05 and recently tested zyre03(on a friend's boll alc) ironically feel less demanding. By that I mean less physical effort, though technique still needs to be there. Also I think the major issue would be the...
  9. Equipment Advice

Hello guys, I have been a former USATT 2100 player. For context I have a powerful forehand opening loop and a very spinny backhand in general. Have used the viscaria and ovtcharov alc with dignics05 on both sides. However due to recent job commitments and overall responsibilities I dont compete...
  10. Used Viscaria and Innerforce? Help!

Yep, 09c on the backhand would change things as far as blocks/passive game is concerned but in terms of overall speed i dont think its going to be a major difference between dima innerforce and viscaria. I dont think you have an equipment problem, maybe just lack of practice and a dip in...
  11. Used Viscaria and Innerforce? Help!

hi there, i hope my experience with these two blades helps you out. Ive been using the viscaria for nearly 6 years and decided to go to the Ovtcharov alc. Why?reason 1: wanted a bit more control in the passive game , and i wasnt playing competitively much hence innerforce made more sense.reason...
  12. How do i start my table tennis career in india

Hey, ive got some different advice for you.You could definitely TRY to go pro.Even if you don't make it I think you might at least get a decent national or a state level ranking.even so, you could make money off of table tennis.Try becoming a coach. India is the most populous country in the...
  13. How did you know it is THE ONE? Blade and Set up.

Very simple.Choose the one you like the feel of.I personally prefer a hard and crisp contact(harder the better 😂)but that's just preference.Tried my coach's viscaria and have stuck with a viscaria for the last 6 years.
  14. Buy another pair of Rakza 7 or buy different rubbers?

You could give fastarc g1 a shot.Should be a bit spinnier and harder but not too difficult to control.
  15. What butterfly blade should i get?

Nice ,let us know how the hadraw plays.
  16. What butterfly blade should i get?

Yep,good value if you can get a pack of 6 for 5-7usd.But i'd say just invest slightly more and get DHS.
  17. Asking for Strategy against these 2 Players

BE MORE CONFIDENT!There were instances where the opponent is looping without much pace, counter these immediately or simply vary the placement of your blocks .Don't hesitate to use power, you've good good spin but don't seem to be using much strength.I can see that you don't have a particular...
  18. What butterfly blade should i get?

Don't, the boll spirit is a quick blade meant for really advanced and competitive players,You'll need at least 2-3 years of training and competitive experience to handle such a blade and use it to its full potential.Only thing its going to offer over an all wood blade is a harder feel and a lot...
  19. Hard and Crisp(all wood)

Thanks a lot for info guys, will definitely help him out!👍
  20. Hard and Crisp(all wood)

Yep he loves the feel of a viscaria but isn't a fan of its short game, and he hates tacky/hybrid rubbers
