  1. Comparison of H3N 37 with Various rubbers on BH (G1, D05, Nittaku H8-80 Power, etc.)

Right now, H8-80 Power feels good to me, but I can really only tell if I'll keep it after I play a tournament. Will try D80 after that if its softer than D05, but my understanding was that they have the same sponge, only topsheet is different. I have had a hit with Zyre a couple of times...
  2. Comparison of H3N 37 with Various rubbers on BH (G1, D05, Nittaku H8-80 Power, etc.)

I have tried it, but its too hard for my BH and I can't handle it. I boosted it too much to try to make it softer and the topsheet separated from the sponge.
  3. Comparison of H3N 37 with Various rubbers on BH (G1, D05, Nittaku H8-80 Power, etc.)

Some other rubbers I've tried on BH: - Big Dipper: Just a slow rubber. Not particularly good at anything. Don't know why it has good reviews. - Moon 12 Blue: Really fun rubber. Great for people who like to borrow opponent's power and don't quite know how to generate their own power. This will...
  4. Comparison of H3N 37 with Various rubbers on BH (G1, D05, Nittaku H8-80 Power, etc.)

For the past two years, I've been using H3N 37 on my BH. I really like it, however, there are a couple of reasons I look for alternatives from time to time: 1. Consistency: I don't spin a lot on my BH, so minor changes in weight/hardness/boosting mess up my BH and it takes a few days to adjust...
  5. Most hardest sponge with tackiest top sheet Chinese rubber in your experience

Victas TDE. Tackier than H3 and very hard sponge. Not sure if the sponge is chinese or not.
  6. Is there such a thing as too fast equipment at intermediate level?

There are two major schools of EJing. - Optimize for your current level of play: most of the established pro's do this. This may not be conducive to improvements in playing level but will win you points - Optimize for improvement in your play: This will inevitably demand more from you and may...
  7. Sanwei or Yinhe: Which one is the better budget brand?

I have used three Yinhe blades. Yinhe N10s is a cheapo blade with good feel and finishing. On par with something like Xiom Allround S. Yinhe T8s plays like a piece of glass and is NOT a Timo ALC clone, like the reviewers had me believe, but great finishing and no complaints in terms of handle...
  8. inverted ox

Nittaku H3 (NR-8669) is available in four thicknesses. I think Thin is 1.1mm. The topsheet is standard DHS H3 topsheet and sponge is Nittaku's. I also remember watching a video from Tabletennis11 where a guy who's pretty good said he uses this rubber for chopping.
  9. DHS Hurricane 3 neo / unboosted

I have played with all H3 hardness-es and here's my feeling regarding these: - H3 37 OS On forehand is usable, but you will lack support from the sponge when hitting good shots. Cannot really be used away from the table. Slow, and really mid rubber for FH with mushy feeling. Can be used if...
  10. Tips for Recovering a fast loop down the line?

There are three things you can do: 1. If you're far from the table, just wait until the opponent hits the ball. You'll have enough time. 2. Close to the table: keep your racket high and prepare for defense or very short action topspin if you can manage that. 3. Mid distance: prepare FH...
  11. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Sad. I thought you guys were changing the handle of Calderano's blade to a different Joola product every match to help the sales of less popular blades, while making Hugo look like a superhuman who can play at the same level with anything.
  12. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

If I were a distributor in China, I might be tempted as well, seeing that the strategy of having many tiers of the same product works well for DHS and 729, I might think of this as a missed opportunity to make money. I might select a few blades among the ones I've received that I consider...
  13. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Your golf analogies are un-understandable for those who don't play golf. Since you're in the UK, I think a better parallel that you would understand is cricket bats, since those are also wood based. I played cricket at a pretty high level and I can tell you that you can definitely buy bats the...
  14. Calderano Signs with Joola (#139)

Is there any conclusion on what's going to be the fate of the ZQH90 blade? Its a truly special blade in my opinion and should not be discontinued.
  15. National Games of China 2025, 11/9-21, Guangdong/Hong Kong/Macao

I want to believe that he's pointing out that he bested both Nr1 and Nr2. But it may just be the football celebration like the other person said.
  16. National Games of China 2025, 11/9-21, Guangdong/Hong Kong/Macao

Update: WR2 also falls to the unranked rando
  17. National Games of China 2025, 11/9-21, Guangdong/Hong Kong/Macao

A random unranked fatty came out of nowhere and beat WR1
  18. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

I watched all her matches. The players that gave her trouble were only if they were able to block or redirect her forehand third ball attack with some consistency. I did not see many short pushes in the receive, so she basically murdered the third ball all over the table. I think the Tibhar...
  19. Best Viscaria higher quality alternative

I play with Joola ZQH 90. Before this, I played with Yinhe D715 for about 6 months. I also have a Viscaria. All three are similar weights. I went from Viscaria to other blades because I don't like how Butterfly's carbon feels. Its too glass-like for me. In my circle, Timo ALC is more popular and...
