Chen Yi probably has THE cleanest serve at the moment. Almost completely vertical toss, and the ball is visible all the time. I can't remember even a single one serve of hers going to TTR or anything.
I used Yonex grip tape for a while, and I was quite pleased with it. It was a badminton grip tape, which I cut in half and used on my blade. It was very comfortable for me, didn't change the feeling (I stretched the tape as much as I could when wrapping it around the handle), and it was super cheap.
Thank you, everyone. It is common, then.

About tackiness being gone after a while, I have to disagree with
I attached a video I recorded just now to show that the rubber is very tacky.

Hello everyone. I’ve been using a sheet of unboosted Hurricane 2 on my blade for over a year. After some time, the pimples started to show like boosted Hurricanes, and the rubber got faster. My guess is that it is because I have hit many, many hard shots with it (at least I think my shots have...
In terms of beautiful rallies and outrageous shots, I don’t think that today’s game has anything less than before. We even have backhand-to-backhand rallies far from the table with the likes of Lin Shidong, Hugo, Felix, etc.
However, there is one thing that I don’t like about today’s game...
Hello everyone.
In the past few days, I've noticed that with a change in my technique and/or grip, the dwell time on my backhand varies by a large margin.
Usually, when performing backhand, the racket is very loose in my hand until the moment of contact, when I snap my wrist and use my thumb...
This is only a guess, but there is a chance that from all the blades with the Viscaria-like construction, Butterfly chooses the ones that tend to be a little softer and puts the FZD handle on them. So you might find a FZD ALC and a Viscaria that are almost similar, but on average, FZD ALC might...
I played with this ball for a few months last year.
In my experience, this ball is the spinniest compared to DHS D40+ 3***, Double Fish WTT 3***, and Yinhe Seamless 3***. I could make sidespin serves that jumped to the side like crazy. Looping backspin balls with this ball was the hardest, as...
Thanks. Could you comment on the blade's performance in the short game, spin generation, and how high of an arc it generates? What about its weight distribution? Is it head-heavy?
Also, I wanna know what rubbers you used on this blade.
Thanks again.
Hi, I'm looking to choose my first carbon blade. While considering the common choices like HL5, Viscaria, etc, I can't ignore a blade which is named after Waldner 😊
So I would appreciate it if you share your experience with this blade.
