  1. softest tacky rubber

Sosfest tacky rubber in 2026? Rakza Z?
  2. Yasaka Rakza Z Review: Still a good hybrid rubber in 2026?

Looking forward to your impressions on Nuzn 48 and Vega China. I haven't tried many rubbers, to be fair. Every time I've changed it's because it's a present. I started with a premade Palio many moons ago, then Rakza 7 on both sides of a YSE was my very first custom. Then G1/C1, then Omega 8...
  3. Yasaka Rakza Z Review: Still a good hybrid rubber in 2026?

Yeah I meant Rakza Z. I have never used chinese rubbers and the only "hybrid" that I have used in the Nuzn 48, which to be honest it's just a tensor IMO. @victormanriquey what would be easier to use / adapt coming from tensors? Rakza Z or Vega China?
  4. Yasaka Rakza 7 Hard

I remember I read a similar comment on another thread and shared a similar personal anecdote there. I remember the first time I started to train with the "grown-ups" at my club when I started playing, I had rakza 7 1.8mm on both side. This chinese guy I was training with, stopped mid-game...
  5. Yasaka Rakza Z Review: Still a good hybrid rubber in 2026?

How does the Vega china compares to rakza X in term of playing characteristics?
  6. Yasaka Rakza 7 Hard

That's a good point. The naming convention and the official description is rather confusing and inconsistent. Now that the R7H is out, I hope someone can make a deep dive into the rakza lineup with a very comprehensive comparison
  7. Hybrid rubbers with the most balanced properties

And even then, I find the nuzn to have way more catapult than a G1. Probably less catapulty than other standard modern tensor.
  8. Hybrid rubbers with the most balanced properties

Looking forward to your comparison with Rakza Z. That's one rubber I have shortlisted
  9. Tenergy 19 review, still a smart choice in 2026

The way I understanding is that T19 is the most user-friendly of the Tenergy line that is not an FX model. Purely based on reviews. I remember I watched the review made by Timo, and the wording he used was something along the lines of "tenergy for everyone", or something like that. Which is a...
  10. Review of XIOM Omega 8 Pro (+ Comparison with Omega 7 Pro)

To me, it's just a tensor with very high grip. Very bouncy IMO, I like it a lot on FH, I'll flip my bat today to have a feeling for it on BH. It may be an option later on. I'm tempted to go back G1 on FH or something more linear or solid in the short game like Rakza Z. If Nunz 48 works fine on...
  11. New FH Rubber (Glayzer, Fastarc G1, Omega VII Pro)

Fastarc: Linear, high arc Omega pro: bouncy, low arc Very different in my opinion but both good. It's a personal preference really. If your technique is not polished, I would agree Rakza 7 would be a better all-around rubber until you decide what's best for your playing style. Believe me you...
  12. Review of XIOM Omega 8 Pro (+ Comparison with Omega 7 Pro)

I changed both my blade and rubbers, which I strongly advise against, but it was a Christmas gift from my wife, so I didn't have much of a choice. I went from a Tibhar Stratus Power Wood with Fastarc G1/C1 to a Butterfly Innerforce ALC Layer with Omega 8 Pro/Eur. It took me weeks to adapt and...
  13. Least Spin Sensitive Inverted Rubber 45-55 deg

What about the throw angle of the mantra pro series?
  14. Tibhar Hybrid MK review

dang it, is the durability that bad?
  15. Rubber catapult ranking

I think that's the general consensus, isn't it? Maybe the high end of RZ is higher, but most people report rakza 7 being faster in the low and mid gears. I have never tried RZ myself (I think played R7 a couple of years back), just been doing a bit of digging on RZ, and that seems to be a...
  16. Tibhar Hybrid MK alternatives

Is it true that the Nuzn 48 feel very similar to the Hybrid MK? I have the Nuzn but never tried the Hybrid MK. It the reports are correct, it could be a very comparable alternative with better durability.
  17. Are there any hybrid rubbers which feel like Fastarc G1?

I haven't tried that many hybrids, but even the few that are considered "linear", like NUZN and Hybrid MK, I found them considerably bouncier in the short games than G1.
  18. 50 degrees Hybrid comparisons (DNA hybrid H vs Bluestar A2 vs. Rising Dragon 2 vs. Golden Tango PS)

You are absolutely spot on this one. The short game is a lot better to me on G1 than many of these 50'ish deg hybrids. I've found them still very bouncy.
  19. Rakza series vs Tenergy?

I'll have to A/B rakza 7 and X. I find this picture very confusing relative to what people say about the throw angle on rakza X. Rakza 7 I played with it long time ago and the throw is medium, then people say rakza X throw is very low. I have to test that myself.
  20. [Equipment Guide] Best First Intermediate Table Tennis Rubbers in 2026: A Comprehensive List & Analysis

@victormanriquey high-quality guide with sound advice across the board, in my humble opinion. Reading your guide, you mention Rakza Z is one of your favourite backhand rubbers, which, funny enough, is the opposite of what most people recommend for backhand (soft tensor with high bounciness to...
