  1. What blade does Gionis actually use?

We have a team here who call themselves the Cretan Dentists… (all of them playing with pimples) though, without Pana Gionis…
  2. What blade does Gionis actually use?

Just a quick update: Gionis is now playing also with Zyre03 on his FH.
  3. Coton Flavien (France)

Mmmmm, I only partly agree with that. You should include LYJ’s backhand as well. They all have a brilliant backhand from the baseline and use it at the right moments, but also at the wrong moments, in my view. Sometimes I don’t understand why they go all out on their forehand with their...
  4. I wasted 12 years of my life trying to play table tennis

I always say that table tennis is like chess played at a very high and fast level.
  5. Andro Novacell off/s versus Stiga Infinity VPS

Last Friday, I trained with this new blade for the first time. My initial reaction was: wow! I originally bought this racket to use as a spare, but it’s going to be my main blade from now on. Compared to my current Andro TP_Ligna All, this Andro Novacell Off/s is just a touch harder and just a...
  6. Andro Novacell off/s versus Stiga Infinity VPS

In the meantime, I’ve swapped the rubbers around. The blade has a great weight to it, 80gr. So the red rubber (1.9) weighs 42 gr, and the black one (2.1), 46 gr. Test day tomorrow!
  7. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

That’s correct, but these are inextricably linked.
  8. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

S&M isn’t just any online shop; S&M = Andro, Andro = S&M. So I suppose there is some logic to their observations.
  9. Andro NUZN 48 Review: Faster and More Dynamic Than NUZN 45, But Still Controllable

However, the S&M (Scholer-Micke) website states that all NUZNs are capable of generating the same amount of spin.
  10. No umpires in USATT tournaments

I have played in tournaments and leagues in my home country for years, at both regional and national level. At tournaments, a volunteer is sought or appointed from among all the participants for the first round. After that, the losing side acts as scorekeepers or umpires (without any official...
  11. Andro Novacell off/s versus Stiga Infinity VPS

I’ve no idea how much the blade weighs. I’d asked for the rubbers to be already attached, but I need to swap them around. The red one needs to go on the side with the Andro logo, but that’s no problem – I’ll do it myself. I’ll let you know the weight next week. That 1g difference is because...
  12. Andro Novacell off/s versus Stiga Infinity VPS

😀 I’ve bought a spare racket with new rubbers. 2.1 FH black & 1.9 BH. We’ll see how it goes next week. (Great service from tabletennisstore.eu)
  13. ETTU Champions League Men 2025/26

And it’s not just Zyre03, I’ve already mentioned in another thread that I’ve seen top players have this several times when using certain shots with their hard Nuzn (50–55). I’ve experienced it a few times myself with my Nuzn 45. If you don’t hit the ball properly, it flies straight on the table...
  14. Andro Novacell off/s versus Stiga Infinity VPS

Andro products generally always have slim handles.
  15. Current meta in TT serve receive: just bh everything.

I still don’t quite get that. LYJ is also a player with a fantastic backhand flick. I find that both he and Coton use their backhand flick far too often (even though it is their strongest weapon). Okay, those guys are of course much more agile than most of us here, but tactically speaking, you...
  16. Andro NUZN 45 Review: A Controlled Hybrid Tensor for the Backhand

    These are on their way...
  17. ITTF WTTTC Finals London 2026, 4/28-5/10

Nothing beats a game of table tennis with friends. ;)
  18. ITTF WTTTC Finals London 2026, 4/28-5/10

Our team finished last. I’m cautiously optimistic, as we managed a 50/50 record. That said, I was playing against opponents who were between 14 and 29 years younger than me.
  19. ITTF WTTTC Finals London 2026, 4/28-5/10

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to watch any of the finals yesterday because we had to play the Final Four in our own league, which was much more important!🤣
  20. ITTF WTTTC Finals London 2026, 4/28-5/10

    All kudo's to Tomo!
