  1. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Well, managed to get 2 hours of practice today with my teammate. We usually do the routine of pushes, H and X drills, topspin, etc. I think we both got better :). I am starting to finally use the entire body to generate topspin on my forehand instead of just my arm, but it's a slow process. Got...
  2. What is your second passion?

Volleyball !!! :D I love playing it, actually been playing it longer than table tennis. My mother used to play when she was a student so I suppose I got it from her. I've been playing with my friend (who is in the same table tennis club as me :D, as matter of fact, we got our second doubles win...
  3. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Good evening everyone :). Just won by 4th league match in a row :D. Finally my win percantage is at 50%, so I can stop hiding in a cave from other members of my team :P. My forehand still needs some work :( but I finally managed to learn how to perform backhand flick to recieve serve. Our next...
  4. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I currently live in Bytom, in Silesia. I drive to Gliwice to train and play for the club.
  5. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Had my first league single match in my life :D. I'm slightly bald person on the front in dark shirt. Representing 3rd team (Team C) of my club :). I'm in middle of losing some weight here, so my footwork is a bit slow. Lost that set 17-19 :/, very close match. In the end I won 3:1. Using my new...
  6. Cheaper T05H - T05 Combination Alternative

From what I remember, Rakza 7 has 46 degrees sponge hardness, while Tenergy 05 has 47-48 degrees (T05 Hard 53 degrees). 1-2 degrees is not much of a difference if you ask me, but I might be wrong. From what I read, Rakza 7 is one of the first rubbers that come in different pools for Tenergy...
  7. Cheaper T05H - T05 Combination Alternative

I can suggest Yasaka Rakza series :). I've been using Rakza 7 for 2 years now and they are very durable. Great control and little grip for flicks and topspins far from table. Also, cheaper than tenergy
  8. Choosing between Nittaku 40+ premium or Butterfly's 40+

To get back to OP of this thread, I think most of us can agree that Nittaku 40+ Premium is better than Butterfly 40+ (whether S40 or G40). I'd suggest you buy Nittaku ones. Maybe they are expensive, but you get value for your money and they last long.
  9. Choosing between Nittaku 40+ premium or Butterfly's 40+

Those were the ones I bought : https://revspin.net/balls/dhs-40-plus-3-star.html I am not buying DHS balls again. Nittaku 3* Premium are the best for me, I recently bought Nittaku J-Top training ball and it is good.
  10. Choosing between Nittaku 40+ premium or Butterfly's 40+

I have played with both DHS 40+, Nittaku 3* Premium, Andro 3*, etc. and I can say without any doubt, worst ones were DHS 40+ 3* balls. I bought 12 of those and 3 broke during the same training session. 2 more broke 2 weeks later. I never had such bad batch of balls. Bought Nittaku 3* Premium...
  11. Australian Open 2019 [Platinum]

Chinese and courtesy !? :D Good one
  12. Thinking about buying Tenergy 25

Koki Niwa was using it when he was using Butterfly equipment. But I don't know any current pros using it. Guess 05 is so popular Butterfly could sell only that and no one would notice.
  13. Thinking about buying Tenergy 25

Thank you everyone for advice. I've decided to buy Rakza 7 to replace the cut one and Tenergy 25 out of curiosity :). I read some more about different Tenergy rubbers and I think it suits my game the most (backhand counter and topspin). Will provide some feedback when I've used it in training.
  14. Thinking about buying Tenergy 25

Hello everyone. I am currently playing with Stiga Azalea Allround with Yasaka Rakza 7 on both sides, but recently my backhand rubber got cut when I was trying to do a chop close to the table. Since I never played with Tenergy before, I thought about buying one and trying it out. I am thinking...
  15. Looking for good flexible blade

I'd go with Stiga Azalea Offensive. Great OFF- blade, quite flexible with great feel. It is all-wood blade, but it quite fast.
  16. Flexible blade hard rubbers, even for looper?

I currently use Azalea Allround with Yasaka Rakza 7 rubber on both sides. Even thought it is ALL/ALL+ blade, I can get good fast topspin from both sides with sufficient technique. Control is superb, never felt that good when blocking. I strongly suggest buying Allround or Offensive, great blade...
  17. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I felt good driving to my club for training yesterday, but didn't think in a million years it'd be so great. I think I am in good form lately. Good feeling during warm-up (all backhand topspins were going in, even my forehand topspin looks at least plausible now :) ). After a bit of exercise and...
  18. China Open 2019

So.... you basically say that people from "west" don't acknowledge achievements of present/past players outside of China ? What !? I am sorry, but it is false. Here, in Poland, we honor our former players Andrzej Grubba, Leszek Kucharski, Tomasz Krzeszewski, Lucjan Błaszczyk to this day. Many...
  19. China Open 2019

I can assure you that "west" knows about that generation you talk about. It's not that they don't "show respect", it's that this generation is not winning. Every casual fan of any sport, from football to table tennis, is only going to know guys who are winning. And the people winning now are...
  20. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Recently, I feel like in good form :). I have been training with university group for about a year now. Feeling a lot more confident to attack instead of blocking all the time like I used to do. My backhand topspin has improved but still I can't do any forehand topspin at all :(. Have to rely on...
