  1. Loki Kirin k10/k11 (Rosewood/Walnut)

It seems like you are not in the target group anyway. You don't need to believe it. You can still buy Stiga stuff for 10 times the money I guess, but for most people (not just casual amateurs) these will play very closely to that for this fraction-like money.
  2. Loki Kirin k10/k11 (Rosewood/Walnut)

There are a few good possibilities to get Loki products at AliExpress for a surprisingly good price/performance ratio. I had a few blades with rosewood top ply already, and I can confirm also by the play feel, that this is genuine rosewood, very similar to what is used for 729/Friendship Rose...
  3. Torn topsheet

May I cite here a classic? "Ashes to ashes, rubber to rubber... taken too soon" Right the first chapter in this TTD made video (0:15 to 1:38)
  4. Light or Heavy Table Tennis Blade – Which One Is Right for You?

On the other hand, there is Fextra 5 and V5 Pro - those are usually pretty lightweight ones (78-83 g with FL handle), but because of Koto and Ash outer layers, there is a good hitting feeling. I already made a racket based on V5 Pro for a female player. She liked it very much.
  5. Light or Heavy Table Tennis Blade – Which One Is Right for You?

Sanwei already implemented a gargantuan chopping blade (Sanwei Defence Alpha 40+), approx. 166x157 mm, weight 118~120 g. It is quite demanding to wield it physically even with thin/no sponge long pips, but you will become (like literally) the great wall of China with it 😁 (I played it against a...
  6. Warranty on Table Tennis Blades

I guess, nothing bad happens if there is an additional thin layer of Rev. nr. 3 sealer applied - even if there was some kind of factory sealing already, but the look of the blade surface does not fully confirm that.
  7. Loki Kirin k10/k11 (Rosewood/Walnut)

I ordered a few of K10 several weeks before, and I think, K10 has a great price/performance ratio (even better, when snatched for a low $10-ish price tag with good discounts). The Rosewood top plies have a high quality look and feel (nicely sanded/polished, thicknesses are even with low...
  8. A stiff all-wood with a soft feel?

I can recommend Yinhe Uranus U3 as a classical example (thickness: 6.8mm - rather stiff, but not too fast), a bit slower can be Yinhe Uranus U2 Spin (thickness: 6.0mm). From DHS, I can recommend Power G7H (Hinoki top ply variant of the famous budget blade Power G7 with 6.3mm thickness) or Power...
  9. Top 5 OFF- (Offensive minus) blade?

I would add Sunflex Zen OFF 5 to the list (it is Off- despite the naming). It has a little bit atypical composition: Thin (but not paper thin) Mansonia wood top plies (harder than Koto, but a little bit less elastic - gives good feeling) Thick Koto medial plies (this is the main selling point)...
  10. Treatments with sanding paper to fool Umpire.

Still, I think, that whenever an umpire does this, I cannot imagine, how the athlete would be compensated for ruining his/her competition-ready racket - I don't think, that a newly glued "identical" configuration would work, because there would be no separate times (like several hours) to do the...
  11. Aliexpress Singles Day 2024

I've experienced something strange. On the final day of Black Friday sales, I hit the red button on Yinhe Pro 13S, and now, when I want to go back to the product page, it blinks for a moment, then it says, that the product is currently unavailable in my location, with a 404 pictogram. Can you...
  12. DHS fans unite!

I have purchased various DHS rubbers in several rounds from AliExpress sellers, and while I might get lucky sometimes, and the sheet weights correlate with the stated hardness, it is rather more frequent, that I don't really get, what I expect. For example, I bought 2 pairs of H8-80 38 degree...
  13. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I am counting on black sheets for the future, as I tend to use many rubbers with the same thickness and hardness on both sides - but not always. I don't really like BH only rubbers, but I tend to use a few FH only rubbers when I am using pips on BH, so I make a better use of them.
  14. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Why there is no black sheets available on AliExpress of Telson 100 rubber? At least, I saw that option at a few sellers, but then greyed out very soon.
  15. What is more profitable: regular reboosting a cheap Chinese rubbers or buying a Euro/Jap Hybrid?

About LAC, I gave up on it, when I was only able to get it with vastly different sponge thickness and overall sheet weight - which cannot be justified for a $25-ish rubber. I get either 63-64g uncut sheets with clearly thinner than 2.1mm sponge, or I get a 2.2mm thick land rover tire with a 75g...
  16. Sanwei Fextra 5, new blade?

Koto is available in huge varieties of appearances, the comparison you have shows a standard grade Koto top ply, while the Viscaria has a more "figured", beamed fishscale pattern. Darker, straight streaks, which are pores have very similar distribution and other characteristics on both, despite...
  17. Any Oversized Chinese looping blades?

DHS TG7 CP, TG7 SP, and other siblings in the same series. I think, it is slightly oversize, like 159×152mm. You can also get Palio Chop Nr 1, but that is not really a sophisticated looping blade, but oversized (157×157mm). You can also go with Sword Razor, which is a 7-ply defensive blade...
  18. Your Favorite Inner Carbon Blade - SURVEY

I can also confirm this. I applied FH: Loki RXTON V Pro, BH: Loki RXTON V on Sanwei 75 Inner, and it works well. Not super crisp, but crisp enough, and actually I have a good dwell time with it. Initially the racket felt weird with the RXTONs, as those rubbers really needed some hitting and...
  19. Dhs H301 vs Butterfly innerforce alc blades

Not just thicker overall, but I think, the core is easily thicker than the core of 301. 301 has thicker Koto outer plies, and also thicker second plies, which makes a lesser separation between the composite layers. In other words, the composite layer of Sanwei 75 Inner is at a shallower depth...
