why this ASIA CUP so under rated that it hasnt been covered on ittf.com website...... though it covers all the major events..... why is it so ????

Asia Cup is not a ITTF event. Never was and never will be.
There are other tournaments that are not ITTF event and also not on ITTF website.

Why would ITTF website cover non ITTF events too?

you are sure it? Players results in Asian Cup make effects on their world rank so it is an ITTF event.

Of course the Asian Cup 2014 is an ITTF Event but this regional event status is just an ITTF Approved Event with weighted ratings R3 that have lower priority comparing to other ITTF Event that have ITTF Sanctioned status and weighted ratings R1 or R2.

Yes, I meant to say, this is not a ITTF scanctioned event. Just only approved event.
The ITTF Asian (continential) event is called the Asian Championships - the World Championships qualification tournament too
