Also FZD don't use Butterfly apparel, it was always Li-ning, he even have signature shoe model, so we can say for sure that his butterfly contract is only for the TT equipment. So for me it looks like Anta tries to challenge Li-ning in terms of TT apparel in Asia, and rubbers are just there for hobby players to buy with the clothes. It looks logical in context of their expansion in badminton as well, because asian badminton apparel is also dominated by Li-ning, but not nearly to the same extent as in TT.

FZD can go to Tibhar...AND Tibhar will not care about Anta because their TT equipment would skyrocketing the market
Nittaku and DHS coexist.
Maybe Anta will go to market and they will use FZD as tester and then buyout or will find new player to advertise their product
( Xuperman line is probably the easiest choice ) or even Gaoyuan WHO Had own brand and he is still on double fish equipment

From the way Anta is handling the feedback on their badminton product line (improvement and modification within a few months, showcasing their short lead time), they are serious and aiming for the beginner's market, which is the most profitable segment. The same could be expected for table tennis.

Adidas tried this and lasted ~7 years in the TT market. It's tough to break into an already-saturated market even with name recognition. I'm curious to see what comes of it. Hopefully Anta manages to avoid running into the same pitfalls Adidas ran into.

Adidas failed because they had too much ambition (entering in 2007 and dominating in 2017) and started from the high-end market (low profit margin), all without their own manufacturing capabilities. The effort that went into hiding ESN as their rubber supplier was comical. When people figured out, they just became another value-added reseller when people expected more from the brand Adidas.

If Anta does it like Hisense and TCL, then many table tennis brands will be in trouble.

Looks like they hit the market back in Fall 2025. The 9-star model (CN¥539), 5+2AC (Koto/AC/Ayous/Kiri/Ayous/AC/Koto, essentially a Viscaria clone) w/ tacky rubbers ATTR05 259-005 (FH) and ATTR04 259-004 (BH), suggests ANTA is serious about it.

What shocks me is the ANTA branded Mizuno Wave Drive shoes. It's really confusing to be honest unless ANTA is the manufacturer for Mizuno but I don't think so. (or they are not original ANTA shoes, which would surprise me less)
