It's a bit curious that someone who received a blade from Patrick Franzisca and claims to have "a lot of special blades" needs to search Google to find out where to sell it. If you have "a lot of special blades", surely you know about them and wouldn't need to search Google to find out where to sell them?

It's really not that suspicious or unlikely that someone could both know a pro player and also not know where to sell collectors' items if not within their own personal circles.

Its actually pretty normal for people to ask for any kind of proof for a 1000 euro piece of equipment that can be a 10 dolla look-a-like from aliexpress.

Can you link some of the 10 dollar look a likes from Ali Express of numbered version PFZLCs that visually checked all the boxes of Butterfly authenticity like the now-deleted photos from his post did? I wasn't aware they made fakes of those.

I can ask a TT artisan to make me a custom made blade for 200$ and sell the duplicate for 5x

Why would Butterfly officially publish information on what their sponsored players equipment looks like? Though it is pretty easy to find second hand photos of the confirmed pros' numbered versions online, I think @zeio posted a picture of Harimoto's before. OPs pictures gave no reason to think they looked fake, people here are just assuming it is because it would be a rare collector's item.

Hypothetically you could, but could you ACTUALLY find a "TT artisan" that is willing and able to violate all trademark and patent laws by making a fake Butterfly with the skills good enough to produce a piece that isn't obviously a fake? Probably not. People here just convinced themselves this was fake before giving him a chance to prove it was real, when he already posted reasonable initial proof, and thus drove away a potential new member (which apparently was a big concern of the forum in recent months).

Well, given his behaviour on the german forum some years ago (and I know his name and (former) club/s), it seems obvious to me that he is not the person that is interested in interactions with us anyway. He just wants to sell this item. There is probably a reason why he doesn't offer this (used?) blade on the german forum. Whether this blade is genuine or not I cannot tell, but even if it were, I wouldn't buy from him, simply because of him, and certainly not for that price. That being said, you (or anyone else for that matter) must not complain that he was likely driven away from the forum. He doesn't need us and we don't need him.
