I guess it depends on your point of view, carl.
One of my teammates plays the energy wood and weighs around 88g and it feels rather 'head'-heavy than heavy. So you're probably right.

Still my nittaku shake offence weighs exactly 77 grams, hence the energy wood felt much much heavier to me.

This is interesting. There are always weight variations in blades. I hit with at least 4 different Energy Wood blades and they were all under 80 grams and felt pretty light. But they definitely felt head heavy.

The blade itself felt really crisp and nice. I liked it. Back when I was trying them out I would have got one except I did not like how light the ones I tried were and I did not like WRB. But an 88 gram one would actually probably feel like a 93 gram blade because the head would be the weight of a 93 gram blade.

Anyway, I personally would think about these blades:

Yasaka Sweden Extra
Tibhar Stratus Power Wood
Stiga Allround Evolution
Stiga Offensive Classic

I would not worry about the weight unless it really does bother you. I am using a setup that is about 200 grams total. Once I got used to the weight I stopped noticing it. Now everything else feels light.

I used to use a setup that was about 180 grams total weight and when I was using that it felt fine. But with the extra 20 grams from blade and rubbers, this setup feels much more solid and like I have much more inertia behind my shots.
