Hello,
I opened this thread to check if anyone has ever owned/played an Almas blade as I can't find much info on web.
My parents bought it as a gift in 1994 during a youth tournament in northern Italy.
There was this "Eastern" coach (I remember someone said Russian, but it could have been Bulgarian/Hungarian/etc.) that had material to sell.
I put an image below; mine has red tag on handle with same blade name and a dot on "+Carbon scale", but it seems really the same.
It's a 3+2ply with carbon layers, with quite a thick core. Don't know which woods is made of.
Flare handle really big and extremely uncomfortable with small hands
I put on Acuda S1 on FH and Vega Pro on BH just to re-start playing but it felt really stiff, hard and fast on flat hit but difficult to loop with (compared with BSS1 I play now)
Does anybody know anything?
Soon I'll post pics of my actual one
