Hi guys, after a while with this rubber i'm feeling that it's becoming a bit slower, it's like it has a ceiling for speed, and even if i put more weight transfer into the stroke the rubber doesn't respond, the speed is really limited.
Is there any rubber that can produce great amount of spin like rakza z, but with higher speed? I like the tackiness, so i was thinking about J&H C55 or some hybrid rubber. I wish i could try hurricane but the boost routine keeps me out of it.

🦋D09c perhaps?

If your blade is just stiff enough to give it the kick that 09c needs - I'm not familiar with your blade at all.

What is stiff enough?
I just said that because I have D09c on a Ma Lin EO (where previously there was a Rakza Z) and also have 09c on an Innerforce ALC.
If it's additional speed that you really want my experience was that the 09c on the MLEO wasn't much faster than the Rakza Z, unless you really put a lot into it. But on the Innerforce ALC you can actually tell there is a real difference when looping aggressively.
It's not night and day but it's a perceptible increase in speed.
So, depending on how much speed you actually want, 09c may or may not be the answer.
I've never tried the Z extra hard though so that might be a good shout also 🤷‍♂️

LOKI - Rxton IX 39deg is really nice out of the box. XIOM - TAU II is like a boosted Hurricane 3. LOKI - Arthur China does also have the boosted H3 feel. 729 - Battle III is kind of a bouncier version of Battle II, with a bit euro feeling.

I don't think the 09c is a good option for your level. You mentioned in a recent post that you only started playing the sport recently (a year and a few months).

The Rakza Z isn't that fast, but it's fast enough to get a lot of points. If you want a faster hybrid, you'd have to go for a harder rubber, which would make learning even harder.

If you still want to try, I'd recommend the K3, which is a little easier to play than a C55 or D09C. There's also the Omega VIII China, but from my tests, I found the K3 to be faster. Maybe the future Omega VIII Hybrid will be in the style of the K3.

Now, what I really recommend for your level would be to get a softer rubber. A K3 FX or an MK Hybrid. Both have less catapult than a normal Tensor, but they're very easy to play. If you want more speed, get the MK.

I tried to do this route you want (hard hybrid rubbers), in training, everything was beautiful, but when it came to the championships, things got complicated. So I decided to take a step back and now I'm alternating between the MK Hybrid or the K3 FX.

What about the O8C?

The O8C is slow. Faster than the Rakza Z, but not much, you will only notice the difference if you hit it really hard. It's what I said in the previous post, they are harder rubbers, so you need to have a more refined technique and better energy transfer to be able to use them. For beginners, 45~50 degrees of hardness is most recommended for forehand.

That may do, i only think Rakza Z is slow when i hit hard.

well, all these rubbers, Xiom C55 & O7CG, Donic Bluegrip C2, Donic BlueStar A1, Dignics9c, have one similar point - they come alive when you engage the sponge.
I played the most with C2 (albeit on my old all-wood blade and shortly on the current TMXi) and C55 (with current blade, TMXi).
C55 being the best of the lot and I also played a lot with it. it is also the most progressive, but what surprised me, not in an uncontrollable way. i.e., if you were close to the table, playing normal warm up drives, it was a nice, almost slow, controlled rubber. then during warm up loops and topspins, it starts to show it's true face, with giving you more and more. and then, when you are in the middle of the point, at mid-distance, or even far away from the table, it unleashes all the power and all the spin. it really is one amazing rubber.
C2 was much more linear, but with more power when close to the table. maybe a tad bit more spin, but cannot really comment on that as I can produce heaps of spin with any decent rubber.
Dignics9c seemed to be very similar to C2 but more catapulty, and Bluestar A1 the fastest, this one really is fast, it's a rocketship and I didn't play long with it because it's not my cup of tea. also very pronounced catapult, this one is great for mid-distance to far from table play, but I missed some lower gears near the table.
China Guang is somewhere in between Dignics9c and C2, but with least catapult, but allows also good brush loops.

but like I said - you have to engage the sponge to unlock the maximum potential.
