andro Rasanter

I went over to the good people at http://www.sporteurope.nl (new shoes needed), and they happened to have a few setups with my very own blade and the Rasanters: R47 max/V47 2.0 and R50 max/R47 2.0.

All good. I slightly preferred the feel of the V50 but have my doubt about my own ability to master it at 2.3mm thickness; the R47 is already a speed monster. Push, touch play, slow and very spinny brush loops, blazingly fast powerloops, and very powerful kill shots. T05 might still be spinnier, but I think I get quite a bit further in terms of controlled speed, placement, and safety.

I didn't have to adapt much; what worked for Rasant Grip also worked just fine for the Rasanters. All in all, I think the R47 is the most enjoyable rubber I've played with so far. Ever.

Do you mean R50 or V47? (You said V50 in your post)

You don't think it's a hoax, or a fake? I find no other reference to "Rasanter" anywhere. Seems to be a mini-review, calling it well-balanced, high quality and easily adapted to (if I'm not mistaken).

Also you can visit and watch the official Youtube andro channel, there are many videos about andro rasanter.

Have you tried the rubber?

I prefer softer rubbers and have tried the R37 in 2,3 mm (ultramax) in my last training.
Compared to Rasant Beat (2.1 mm), it is faster, better for playing topspin, slightly higher arc, more grip.
The surface of R37 is tauter (both have sponge hardness of 37°).
It was fun playing with the Rasanter - I keep it on the forehand and the Beat on backhand.

I've put R47 (max) and R42 (max) on my Darker Liberta and liked very much the R47 for FH and BH. The R42 is slower and holds the ball longer than I prefer. I've tried it on BH first and its spiny but a lot slower compared to T80. Then I've tried it on FH where it was better for me but again slower. No problem with the slow heavy spiny loop (the spin is huge) but I hardly can finish the point directly. I need 2-3 well placed loops to finish the job. I liked the setup better as R47 on BH and R42 on FH and I'll give it a try for several more training sessions and then I'll make the final decision to keep the R42 or not. The R47 is similar to RGrip except the higher trow angle. I liked it very much on FH and BH too. Both rubbers are excellent in short to short game making a lot of backspin on the ball. Very easy to play rubbers. That's for now.

I just try a little bit of baby oil on one spare R38 and i can say is pretty reactive ... only two really thin layers and is curled like hell.

ok it plays like every boosted rubber ... just level above .. more feel more speed better control better spin .... little bit softer ... what a surprise... ;-)
i love it... i will tune also my r42 in the future....
ps.: it is ridiculous how bigger the rubber grows after boosting ...i have to cut nearly 4 mm from it after booster is applied. im now interesting how fast it will shrink .... but from the knowledge of stiga ganesis think it will last for a long time.
