Hi all
I came across the new DHS Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial 38° with the blue sponge and I’m really curious about it. Almost everything I read about Provincial Hurricane comes from boosted sheets, but I want to play it straight out of the packet no boost at all, ever.
So if anyone here has actually used it unboosted, I’d love to hear everything:
• How does it feel out of the packet? Playable, or still dead/bricky without boost?
• Spin and speed on openings against backspin, and on loops from mid distance
• Throw angle vs. the regular H3 Neo Provincial (orange sponge) higher, lower, same?
• Weight of a cut sheet, and how heavy it makes the setup feel
• Blade pairing does it need an outer ALC to come alive, or does inner ALC / limba work fine?
• How long it stays lively before it goes flat
• Short game, flicks and blocking is the control actually better with the softer 38°?
