are you going to use for your forehand? They aren't the same rubbers but i find them to be pretty similar, especially you are (which you should) boosting your hurricane rubber.
Similarities: semi tacky, dense+heavy+hard sponge, lots of control and spin, great in the short game
Differences:
-h3n has lower arc, h3n is kind of a "grip and rip" (i mean you have to hit with a more open face, engage the rubber fully, then swing through).
-D09c has a little more "pop" from the spring sponge X (best way to describe the difference is that blocks of the same power will land further on the table and be slightly faster with D09c than with H3N)
-h3n is more slightly tacky...and the top sheet really does not wear out as long as you take good care of it (clean and put protector on after each use. for reference, i hit way more forehand shots than backhand shots, but my hurricane topsheet remains the same, while the d09c top sheet starts to lose grip. please note, the d09c topsheet does last a lot longer than a tenergy 05 topsheet, but both tenergy 05 and d09c topsheet will eventually wear out. that is when i replace. in h3n, i feel like the sponge goes bad (probably from booster) but the top sheet remains perfect.
i use d09c on my backhand and h3n on my forehand. but i did just get two 38 degree h3n OS prov that i am going to try on my backhand. i'll put booster on too. will probably do this in a few months once my current set up has worn out completely.
