I'm thinking of buying an Adidas Fibertec Extreme blade (I love a quick bat), and was wondering if anybody had tried this blade or any of the other Adidas blades and can comment on their quality?
I own one and tried it with H3 and Tenzone regular. It was a great blade with plenty of speed and good feeling. It's inner carbon so it still has great touch. If yo're using your current rubbers I think you'll enjoy the Fibertech Extreme well with your current rubber setup.
Sounds good. Definitely sticking with the combination of rubbers, suits my game. Joola Flame Extreme blade is really good but they've discontinued it for an unknown reason.
What were the handles like compared to other brands? Do they feel thin or thick?
The Fibertech series flared handles in general are thinner than say the flame series from JOOLA. I would compare the flared handles somewhere in between the falcon and flame series of JOOLA blades.
Mind you, I've only ever used flared handles in the fibertech series.
I've got an Adidas Hypertouch (with Adidas Tenzone Ultra on FH/BH) as my backup bat. Blade has perfect workmanship, plays and feels kinda like a BTY Viscaria. Basically, it is quality stuff.
I just use anatomic handles now, as long as it's not stupidly thin I should be okay.
Good, would hope a company like Adidas would produce good quality blades. Tried the Tihbar Stratus Power Wood and it's breaking off at the edges quite bad after a month or so.
