Are 5-ply wood blades more flexible than 7-ply (inner) carbon blades?

Might be an advice to train more. Believe me, I train as much as I can (more exactly as much as my club and my time allows me), but only be training and not getting the right setup can be a waste of time in long-term. I've heard about players who were training and training and could not make significant process. And why? Because they didn't have the right blade/rubber, but mostly the blade.
I know the more I train the higher chances I have to be better, but first I need my most appropriate setup. Unfortunately, for that purpose, I have to be an EJ. I just cannot accept a blade and get used to it if that is not suitable. The championships have just ended for me, so it is the best time to do some testing.
Would it be possible if:
- you shared a video of you playing? You mentioned championships have ended for you, maybe by chance you have some league footage?
- say how old are you?
- do you struggle with accelerating the racket in the timeframe you have to make the stroke?
- say what exactly you do not enjoy about your current setup?
- spend about 40€ on used blades and buy 1 thin 7ply and one thicker 5ply that is cheap AF just to verify the scenario by yourself? I think you should be able to buy Sanwei Fextra (Donic Dyjas Ultra Power, Victas TSP/SWAT etc.) and Xiom Offensive S used for 20€ each. If you like one and want to have a really nice big brand premium brand, you can later decide. OSP has a big following on this forum. I never liked mine, but a lot of people like it.

Also, if you ever visit Kraków by chance and want to play (I've never played against anti) and go for a beer/kebab I can bring some blades from my collection for you to try.

Also, why I said "go train mindfully". One of my training partners has a very allround style, if not spin variation defensive. He played with Innerforce for a while before almost all club members transitioned to Tibhar Curiouses.

Unfortunately I have no footage of me playing. I have no problem of accelerating to make a good forehand shot. Actually, I like my setup pretty much, the only problem is that my anti works quite funky on this carbon blade. I acquired the blade before moving to anti and one of my teammates gave me the idea of getting a 5-ply wood blade as it would have better control and more consistency for the anti. On this carbon blade, it behaves quite strangely, sometimes pings off and sometimes goes really short. Unpredictable, maybe mainly because of being an attacking blade. I need something more "all-round" like.
Thanks for the offerings of blades but I never leave my country. I believe and hope the blade I'm looking for will be the final answer for all my equipment-related questions.

Hmm. You sound a bit like MOG. I think you might want to start of where he left. I've never played anti so I do not want to comment, but If I remember correctly stiffer better for anti and pips. There is a bunch of forum members more qualified to elaborate. I would start with thin 7 ply. Cheap and plenty. If anti still wonky go thicker, if you struggle with loops go 5 ply :)

Stiff blades are usually good for frictionless antis, at least some say. Now it is a hard thing to decide what is good for what. I've read on forums that someone recommended flexible blade for anti and someone recommended stiff blade for anti, so I'm especially lost. I've played with a 7 ply before (SK7) but didn't like the feeling. I've played with a 5 ply as well, but it had a straight handle, which once again I don't like. But I'm about to return and see what do we have.

Thanks anyway for help.
