Having been involved with professional players for the past few years, I can say the journey of being a professional table tennis player is an extremely lonely one.
With a lot of my coaching years spent in Africa, I will always have a spot for the continent, including certain projects working together with Aruna.

Here is Aruna post and I can see it comes with decade long of challenges and loneliness.

I still remember Rio 2016 when he beat Chuang Chih-Yuan and CCY saying that every ball came with a bounce that end up higher than his head, while he was away from the table and that he has never played anyone who so much FH power.
Aruna beat CCY 4-0
and next match he beat Timo Boll 4-2.
Lost to Ma Long in the QF and earned 5th place in OG men's singles.

what a sport!
