Avoid tacky rubbers because they are dust magnets?

Custom Table Tennis told me to avoid tacky rubbers because they collect dust and thus loose their good qualities. Is this a problem for you? It is not good if my rubbers are okay at the beginning of a match but let me down at the end. And some halls are very dirty…
How about you just clean the rubber after playing?

No problem whatsoever,
You can even clean between sessions and matches. I keep a small damp sponge in my pocket...

And make sure to clean properly at home and ALWAYS use protected sheets...

Agree with others, this is basically a non issue... you can just wipe them regularly and it won't be a problem.
They are affected by "extreme" conditions though: they tend to be bricky and difficult to engage in the cold, while in hot and humid halls they tend to get slippery. But this is true for most rubbers, you just have to deal with it...
