Backhand (banana) flicks on double's receive

When playing doubles, RH serve vs RH receive, does the angle work against backhand (banana) flick? Especially with side-underspins?

for pendulum serve receives you would go with the spin if you banana, so that would make it easier and the spin not that reactive. against tomahawk or backhand serves it would be against the spin but these you wanna forhand flick or loop anyways
